  1. I appreciate your position Steve. Thanks for the feedback.
  2. Thanks Steve. I have used Alclad Chrome & Spaz Stic Chrome with good results. But they don't stand up to handling. I have also had good results with Molotov and a water based clear on it. I agree the econmics are not good for Molotov but I do like itand would pic it ove the other 2.
  3. Thanks AJ. Ithought I mixed it thorughly yesterday by shaking it. It did have chrome floating on the top painr on my airbrush.
  4. I have a special project I need to do chrome bumpers. I mave used the Molotov refille through my air brush with good results. But I tried it yesterday (it is several years old) and it didn't turn to chrome. 1. Is there a self life on the Molotov? 2. What is the durablity of the Revell chrome? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
  5. Thanks so much everyone for your feedback. I am glad I didn't try it before I asked. I think the choice would be to make a resin master. Then I can either make more of those or do the vacuum form using the resin piece.
  6. I tried this with a clear windshield and it melted some. This would be the normal white plastic that has been modified.
  7. Thanks David. I will give that a try.
  8. Thanks Les. I will look for something that might work.
  9. Thanks Les. I tried your suggestion and it might work. I had a Revell 69 Charger and it has some of the correct curves too. But like the Camaro it would need a lot of fitting to work. Any suggestions on scratch building one? I just can't get my mind focus on where to start.
  10. I need some ideas on how to build a front alance for this project. Any Ideas will be greatly apprecited. Here are 2 pics of the model plus the actual view of the alance on the car.

  14. Thanks for the note. I will give it a try.
  15. I should try that. Do you just use heavy aluminum foil?
  16. Thanks again for your help Gerry. I think I might try to cast one from the Monogram 66 Mustang.
  17. Yes that is the radio type I am looking for Gerry. The aboe P/E looks more like 80's style. Did anyone do one in a set for one of the 60's series cars? The perfect one would be from a 60's Ford like a Mustang. I have the 67 MCG Mustang seet but it des have a radio face.
  18. Gerry, do know if anyone does a Photo Etched old 60's style push button radio face? The ones I have found with Detail Master are newer style.
  19. Thanks for the offer. Wow what a stach. I may get back to you in the Mr Model ones don't show up in a week or so.
  20. Thanks again Gerry for the info. I have both ordered now. I will probably get the Street Rod ones 1st since they are in the US.
  21. Maybe. But I really need the 3d look for them to be accurate.
  22. Wow I think those might do the trick. I forgot to search for AC grills. Thanks so much.
  23. I need some round defroster vents for a dash on a special project. I could use wizard-o's but I would like them to have some lines in them to represent vent vanes. Thanks in adance for your help.
