  1. Are there any model car clubs in the Denver area? I check the IPMS site & found 2 but I am not sure if there are more or if there are some car only clubs.
  2. Incredibile.
  3. Thanks. I have one of those. I might see how I can make it look like what I need.
  4. Interesting. I was looking at a few that would be narrowed in the gauge area. This might be the opposite approach where I would narrow the right & lengthened the left gauge area.
  5. Thanks Rick. I will need a console like the pic shows but I 1st need to get a starting point for the dash.
  6. Thanks for the offer Rick. I think I need some that are closer to these 3 to work from as a starting point. They are the closest to the original pic. But will still require a lot of work. The 65 Chevelle looks to be the best starting point but would need to be shortened on the left and lengthened on the right.
  7. Actually this is a customized 65 Mustang with a body by Bertone of Italy. What I need is a kit dash that I can modify to make this one.
  8. I need a dashboard similar to this. Thanks in advance for your help.
  9. I need to get & try some of the green stuff.
  10. Sorry I missed the part about still using the master.
  11. I don't see that working because it eliminates the spacing for the actual casting. That's why have a solid master allows you to create additional molds since there wear out after 20-50 pulls.
  12. Wow. What is it? Thanks for the reminder about the Latex gloves.
  13. Good point. That is why I stayed with the clay from RM.
  14. That's a good idea. I used the clay from Reynolds Materials which I heated in the microwave to soften it. Do you have any trouble with the PlayDoh letting the liquid rubber seep in around the body?
  15. Looks great.
  16. Thanks I like to know how he does that. The amount of rubber would bust trough most tape. I would like to know how he seals the bottom to keep it from seeping in.
  17. I am sorry I should have been more specific. To me it is a PITA to to put the clay in the body and try no to have it push out. I just thought there would be some ideas about how to mold the clay to make it easy to put in.
  18. Ok Saran Wrap. But how does that help. I am just looking for an easier way of filling the inside of the body with clay. I use the microwave to soften the clay.
  19. I always seem to have a problem filling the body with clay. If you do this kind of casting do you have any suggestions to make this an easier process? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  20. Very nice. I need to finish mine.
