  1. Darin are you going to have someone cast this?
  2. Actually the tach is an aftermarker "Dixco" tach and the shape is angled differently so the tach face is easier to see. Let me know if you find one.
  3. This will be interesting, very interesting.
  4. Thanks I couldn't see anything except a blank screen when I did that before.
  5. Can one of the board monitors turn off comfy mode for me. It is very diffcult to use currently.
  6. Thanks Chas. The High or Med solids seems at least on clear to be related to the "shine". During this process I have learned about the different temps for the activators. I have been using Normal but it has been in the 100's for the last 26 days so it seems like I need to use a slower aka Higher Temp activator. I will pick up some of it tomorrow and give it a shot this weekend.
  7. Thanks Mike. My problem is I have been shoting from the same can of Matrix for the last 5 years and I don't know if it was High or Medium Solids. So I don't want to get one or the other and it not be what I have been using. The only thing I know is the Hardner is MH005 (Normal) and the reducer is MR870 using a 4 1 1 mix of clear, activator, reducer. Now they say no reducer is nesscesary which may be the VOC thing you mentioned above and the ratio is 2 clear 1 activator.
  8. If it make no difference why do they have them?
  9. I have been using Matrix 3 part clear for years. Now it looks like it has changed and now is only a 2 part ( 2 to 1) . Since we shot this tuff on 1/25 scale cars would Medium Solids be better than High Solids?
  10. Thanks Monte. I will check my stash of Shabo transfers to see if I have any.
  11. I need some Firestone Wide Oval Decal for the tires. Any kit come with them?
  12. Great job Bob. Keep us posted.
  13. I it used for my build of my Rallye Green 69 Nova. The front grill photo etch is a little wide but can be made to work.
  14. It will be hard to replicate the Chevy 69 Up alternator bracket in styrene. The best choice whould be brass and solder the pices together or have it nmachined out of aluminum. Or just use the reasonable facimily from the Original 350 SS Revell 69 Nova.
  15. Thanks Tommy. I ordered a couple over the weekend from his site but I was confiused since I had 2 links that appeared current. I ordered of the "home" site. Hope that was correct.
  16. I am looking for what kit would have a Chevy Turbo 400 Transmission with a seperate pan. The 68 El Camino and 70 Monte Carlo have this trans but the pan is one piece and not seperate.
  17. Great idea Mike! Looking foward to the rest of the "carving" of this Corvette!
  18. The only correct one ever made in a kit for the 69 up Chevy's was in the 69 Revell Nova SS 1st release w/ the 350 Small Block.
