  4. Great build! How did you replicate the side marker lights?
  5. So you paint some smooth cork and press against the part? What kind of cork do you use?
  6. I also use the tooth picks. The round ones seam to have a small (more pointed) tip than the square ones.

  8. Great job Chris. What color/paint is the blue/purple?
  9. Thanks so much! I should have done it before I shot the clear. I will see what I can do tomorrow,
  10. What type of soap do you use? Dishwashing or something stronger like purple power?
  11. Any suggestions for cleaning up the residue? Carbon Fiber egenerally doesn't look correct without the clear coats.
  12. I had to use lots of the Microscale Micro Sol setting solution to get the decals to settle. What does the setting solution do to the decals that would affect the urethane?
  13. I was shooting Urethane 3 part clear on tope of Scale Motosport Carbon Fiber Decals and it rsponded like there was some residue on the decals. I shot the same clear on some other decals and they were fine. This is the second time I have had this trouble with these carbon fiber decals. Anybody know what might be happening?
  14. Very interesting!
  15. Thanks Ken. They are the Power Slide Decals. Much better than the kit decals.
  16. Thanks Steve. I used the PPP (Plastic Performance Products) but I had to cut then apart an reverse the rims since they were too deep to clear the brake assy. I then cast those in white resin.
  17. Speedy Thompson's 57 Black Widow I just finished last Thurday just before leaving for GSL.
  18. Thanks for your comments Bob. It seems to be the thickness of the "Ultra Chrome" so that is why I asked. I will send BMF a note about this. Gues that is why I saved the receive they sent.
  19. I bought 2 sheets of New & Improved directly from Bare Metal Foil company Nov 2010. I am just using it now using it and it seems heavier and less pliable that the "good stuff". The glue also looks "splotchy" on the back. Certainly this has to be the newest stuff Bob was referring to in the above post? Comments?
  20. Very nice Jim. What is that part that looks like a motocycle twist grip?
