    Thanks Dave but it must be 1/25 those are 1/24. I know scale bigitry but.. The current problem is the Engine which must be 1/25. What is your opinion of the Revell 1/25 67 Vette Engine?

    Sorry guys I should be more specific. It will be a 73 Vette with the classic Hooker Side mount headers (like the AMT 70 Baldwin-Motion Vette) and will have a single 4bbl. Think Period Mid 70's mild custom

    Now that I have confirmed that externally the 427 / 454 are identical I need some suggestions as to the best 427 / 454 in kit. I personally think the Revell 67 Vette is the best ever done however it might have some differences in later years.

    I am looking for the best 454 for a Vette project. The only one I know is the 70 AMT Baldwin kit. Has anyone check the deck height on thi vs the 427 that is in the Revell 67 Vette? I checked the factory specs for deck height an they are both 9.8" so that would mean externally they should be identical.

    Sign me up for the single 4-bbl with the center pivot Holley (not catherderal) plain valve covers. Won't need the tranny.

    Ok guys I need the heads & intake with the Holley Center Pivot Carb for the Trumpeter GT40.

    I haven't polished through like you but I have shot automotive hot lacquer onto urethane clear with no problems. The engine compartment was shot with Eastwood's under the hood black.

    I have successfully removed Urethane paints w/ 91% alcohol.

    I am looking for a kit or resin producer for the Ford 427 in 1/12 to upgrade my Trumpeter 1/12 GT40. The heads and the intake could use some upgrading.

    That is truly weird especially since the ROG ZR1 is almost twice the price of the US Version. Maybe they get better plastic?

    Can I configure my posts to always give me e-mail notifications? Recently when I check the box then save it it does not save with the box checked and I have to go back and edit the post and re-check the e-mail notifications box.
