  1. Thanks again for everyone's help. I have a lot of work to do.
  2. How would I do ouline pictures of cars? I am building a new website for our club and would like a back ground like this. I don't know what it is called. Here is a sample from GSL. GSL Site
  3. It is a curbside kit and more expensive than the Gunze kit.
  4. Not as pricey at the Model Factory Hiro kit of the Cobra Daytona @ $250.
  5. The Lenco's were "progressive" transmission so each shifter increase (decreased) the reductions until it was 1 to 1. The 5th shifter was reverse. I used to watch the end of the runs and the drivers would push all of the shifters forward to get to 1st gear. Each cylinder was a different gear. They used automatic clutch packs and transmission fluid.
  6. According to the new Yenko book all of the stripes were installed @ Yenko by part time workers. That would make more since since they were COPO cars and could be (& were) ordered by other dealers.
  7. Keep us posted on this subject. Even though I have both the HRM Cobra Daytona & Gunze kit too I would like one of these.
  8. Thanks Bob. I have to do that for my HRM Cobra Daytona.
  9. Great job Bob! Did you use decals over the scoop? If so what tricks did you use to get them to lie down?
  10. Thanks Brian I have confirmed you as a friend!
  11. Eric thank you so much. I just did it and it is perfect! The MCMA FaceBook
  12. I set up a new FaceBook account for our model club Metroplex Car Modelers and many of you received a request to be a friend of the MCMA. Now how do a get a link for it an how can I use it to send out information about club activities?
  13. Marc if it is hotter temperature wise would you spray the coats faster? It has been 80-90 degress here in Texas and wonder if speeding up the time between coats would help? Do you air brush your Tamiya clear?
  14. Keep us posted Gregg. Does this come with interior & chassis?
  15. . Yes you can use Bare Metal foil to mask but that is kinda expensive compared to Tamiya Masking tape. There won't be any need for clear coat as vinyl tops are either semi gloss or flat.
  16. Looking forward to Bill's with the aftermarket decals!
  17. Thanks Marc. Let us know when he gets the website operational so we can see his stock!
  18. Great job Bob! Looking forward to the build!
  19. And it is pretty darn hard to sand between the cowl vents.
  20. Well not yet but they say they will. And it will be the 1964/5 version not the South African version.
  21. I agree Steve. I like the 50/50 rule best. 50 degress & 50% humidity have yielded the best painting for me. I do warm up the Rattle cans but the air brush paint just have to deal with it.
  22. Anybody have some suggestions for spraying Tamiya Clear when it is 85+ degrees? Will decanting it and adding some Tamiya thinner slow it down so it won't "orange peel" so much?
  23. Like Pete said they have an excellant tutorial on how to mount parts on the "rack". Chrome Tech USA
