  2. Thanks CAL but I was hoping to avoid that. I did that on my 61 Big John Mazmanian Vette and it was a PITA. I am build the Ka-Motion 67 Vette.

  4. Has anybody added headers to this kit? If so which ones were they?
  5. That's not true. If you count the raised spokes there are 5 or 10 if you count the resesed too. The 427 Cobra wheels have 6 spokes or 12 total.
  6. Keep us posted as to what you are doing CAL. I have the Sherline Lathe & Mill but haven't had time to get to using them.

  8. Great Pictures Tim! The link worked fine for me.
  9. I need to do a Vinyl Roof on my 69 Yenko Nova. 2 Questons: 1. What size of plastic do you use for the chrome strip? 2. How do you make the seams look like they have been overlapped if you use a plastic strip?
  10. Great stuff Dave. Keep it coming!
  11. Great Job! I love GT40's, MK I, MK II & MK IV.
  12. Thanks Guys. It is one of the best IPMS shows for Cars. Probably do in part because we come down from Dallas and do most of the judging. Car guys judging cars makes sense. Also in the last 10 years (2004 & 2008) cars have won Best of Show.

  15. How much were the Cabs/Parts. One of my friends is looking for one.
  16. Thanks for the "heads up" Marc. You know me well enough to know I don't sneak up on anything so I best use what I know works.
  17. Thanks Marc. I was wondering have you used any HOK or other "hot lacquer" over Tamiya primer?
  18. Thanks guys for all of your reponses. I have been using Black Gold primer for the last 10 years but ran out. I thought I would try Plasti-Coat. Looks like I just need to use it a few more times to get the "knack" of it.
  19. Any of use Plasticoat T-235 Primer. I just started using it and it seems "grainier" than some of the other primers I have used including Tamiya. Does anyone have any "secrets" for using this primers.
  20. That's an idea but I must have ADD because one of any version is enough for me.
  21. Well next year will be my 6 straight GSL so we shall see. Maybe Mark G. will have finshed the Dream Truck II or the T-Bird Italien or the ....?
