Try MCW lacquer. I have used them for years.MCW Paint

They have been closed for about 2 years. They had some wonderful paint. Try www.scalefinishes.com They have many of the "later" colors not available from others.

Thanks Rick. When I built the Fujimi Curbside of the Black #2 winning 66 MKII I used the Fred Cady decal sheets and put the Fern & NZ on both sides.

Why would the NZ & fern be missing?

Ben I think you will find it much more difficult to do the decals than the paint stripes. Here is mine with painted stripes. I used Scale Finishes paint.

When I bought the decals from Strada he said that closet match was Tamiya TS16 which is what I used. TS47 did not match as close as TS16. I did a paint test between the 2 and TS16 was closest. But I don't think the decals are the right yellow for Velocitiy Yellow. I know Hero piants has the correct color (or so they say) but I would have to see them side by side to know. I was going to do the Hero paints but by the time I made the minimum orde it was over $40.

I just now had an opportunity to take some "almost finshed" Bad Boys #3 Corvette.

I pre-order my kit from Strada a couple of weeks ago. Now I am looking for the after market parts while not even know what will come with the kit. With 1/12 scale these things are harder to find. Anybody know where I can get some 1/12 Coil Overs, Some turned aluminum rotors etc. I will build but I will do the Red Gurney/Foyt car #3

I took a look at bench seats last night. I agree that the Revell 66 Chevelle wagon & 70 AMT Impala could be used but they both have pleats. What about the 62 Chevy like the Hayden Profit stocker? The seats in the 69 Nova were base interior and had no ribbing.

Strada says July but my guess is that it could be August to allow for some slippage. I guess they would have to ship it in June to make the July date.

Sorry you are disapointed. I am elated they did the stock manifolds!! Beside use the headers from the 69 Big Block Camaros. They will fit pefect!

I am curious about the Big Bl;ock Parts too! Mostly did they do headers or cast iron exhaust manifolds.
