  1. I use a charcol foltered mask with paper covers to catch the paint. The charcol filters all of the bad stuff.
  2. Love those cars. I built the red one years ago, What rear tires did you use?
  3. Generally the primer is not the problem it shows up with the top coat. I also bet that this plastic is different that the regular kits since this has been a Revell of Germany kit in the past.
  4. Any crazing of the plastic?
  5. Here is Bob's Contact Info Robert (Bob) Hayes steckel@cox.net
  6. I just got this information from Robert (Bob) Hayes and he has done it alot.
  7. The 77 Monte Carlo Easy Kit has some Halibrand that are 19-21". If you remove the mounting bosses they fit perfectly into the Pegasus 23" step sleves. The other option is that I can "scale-Up" some 1/25 Mini lites by making a mold from the Micro Mark Blue rubber and then letting it set in Coleman fuel for 2 days. This will give you 1 master that will be larger.
  8. That's great information. I will start to look for the kit.
  9. Would be perfect if they come in 5 Bolt pattern. I wanted a newer version of the '60's Minilites.
  10. Can anyone tell me where I could get wheels/tires simalar to these?
  11. What brand of lathe are you using?
  12. They are under "paint masks". Here is a link to some: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-24-25-Scale-Flames-4...1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. They are done on Alps and I have several sets so I would like to know also.
  14. Love those flames. Too much work to make the masks myself so I just used the ones from RPP Hobby on e-bay.
  15. Need to talk to Jeff about doing these Terry.
  16. Looking forward to your test on Killer Chrome. We (Terry Love) has tried the Spaztic w/ Future Clear & Some Water based stuff that is about $30 per bottle.
  17. They are in the 3 previous releases of the C5R. Which only ran the OZ wheels.
  18. I have 2 bottles of MCW Millineum Yellow so I think I will use that and hit it with a dusting of the Tamiya Pearl. I also have the Earnhardt 2001 kit to do also.
  19. Has anyone compared the plastic between the C6R & the Z06? It looks different to me. The C6R looks like it is more "friendly"
  20. So is Millenium Yellow still the correct color? I just got mine today.
  21. All of my reports show them gone for the last 8-10 years.
  22. It is Cobra Colors Daytona Sunset Orange.
  23. What did you use to seal the plastic? When I did the Daytona Sunset Orange I used Binzer like Steve Millberry uses. This is Cobra Colors.
