  15. check out my short tutorial on making filler from styrene steve......it works great instead of using putty. nothing wrong with putty, but when im doing something larger i try to use my melted sytrene technique... heres a link to it, sorry for the margins, i have to fix it. http://bryansmodelingcorner.synthasite.com/tip-section-1.php cheers bryan
  16. looks like youre doin good to me steve! nice work on filling that joint on the rear of the body, and the parts you have painted are lookin good too. keep it goin cheers bryan m
  17. oh man! very cool robert........i love the chopped top, and that new piece of trim you added is killer! keep it goin, its lookin great cheers bryan
  18. great idea with the wood kasey, very cool. try not to use balsa wood though, it gets too "furry" lookin when you sand it. whenever possible, use basswood, its harder, easier to sand, and stands up well over time...your local hobby shop should have it, right in the same display that they have the balsa wood. keep it goin! cheers bryan
  19. excellent job with the salt technique!! looks very convincing. yes, rob is correct.....DO NOT buy the ultra bright chrome bare metal foil! i have two sheets of it here that are useless, dont get me wrong, i love BMF, and i would be lost without it, but the ultra chrome stuff just doesnt stick well, and it seems a little too thick to me. the regular chrome stuff works perfect though....and if ithas to be more shiney, you can always lightly buff it a bit... keep the rusty stuff coming! i love it. cheers bryan
  20. wheres all the progress on this one J? youre killin us! cheers bryan
  21. i did get this thing re-shot in red primer, but ive been so dang sick that i cant hit the bench............sorry fellas. i had a lung infection 2 weeks ago, got some good antibiotics for it, and a few days later i felt ok, well its back again, but this time i think pneumonia is gonna whoop my butt......my chest is killin me, and i cant breath, everything just feels "heavy" when i breath.....coughing my brains out......bummer gimme a few days and i should be back.... thanks guys! cheers bryan
  22. well, i accomplished NOTHING today...........been really sick though. i will return tomorrow cheers bryan
  23. i love it!! looks like the truck from the movie "fire in the sky" when travis walton got kidnapped by aliens...........well it doesnt look like that one, `cause it was beat up, but it reminds me of it! very nice work, and good save on the frame too! cheers bryan
