Got a little bit more done and a little better close up also. Im not going to build a radiator because I plan on mounting the body I'm in the middle of making a little harness even though I've never seen the car with one I really like the looks of this kit with a little black wash on this color.

I got a chance this weekend to add a little color to my entry, I've never done anything like this, so it s a big learning curve. I wanted it to be more "grungy" then "rusty" So I used the salt method with alot of black was and I used some rootbeer transparent Auto air and a burnt colored Auto air. Having 99% of the suspension molded into the frame makes for a pretty fast build, so I started with these parts first And I did the firewall to match the fenderwells. . I'm going to do the hemi that came with the kit, I'm not sure where I'm going with the body yet as far as amor and such, I meen..., whos the hunter and whos the hunted right ??? For some reason I can picture a couple average joes, getting the bug and WHAMM...welcome to zombie ville...but why cant they still be hotrodders ?!? !!!

Still do, just ho scale. I have a few 1/43 cars but I like the pace of the ho. alot less room needed also.

Passing over this tread a few times, I did'nt give it much thought because I didnt have alot of thread tites for you. But after noticing all the replys I figured I better check it out and see what everyone else had for ya. Guess I didnt realize what this was about. I understand what your getting at, but dont forget that people from all age groups as well as comfort levels on a key board pass over these pages. Not everyone knows what to ask for untill someone offers to help.

I feel tebow has been given to hard of a time for a rookie, religious or not. And he is playing against the perfect example of what people feel he isn't, but don't realize that Brady wasn't it either. He was fourth string for how long? I think that kid will grow into a pretty big pair of cleats in the next few seasons. Can anyone recomend a good 318/360 to put in this charger I'm doing? I'm guessing that after setting on a farm for 50 something years the hemi has been long gone, and I cant imagine hemi parts being real easy to come by in the furure. So why not drop in a trusty 360 to power up your new find.

Ive decided to use my round 2 General lee tin boxed kit for my build But before I get blasted with OMGAGLB, I picked this one for a few reasons. The first is its really a poor kit and I wont feel bad it it turns out a mess. and second, I thought it would make for a cool back story. I want to try and weather but keep the decals on the car. If I can get that done, then the rest should fall together. ha ha, I know. I dont have a bunch of guns for her, but I figure once its armored up I can fill in some spaces if needed with somethnig. I'm pretty excited, this will be my first weathering/damaged build as others have posted.

I would concider myself savvy, but I dont jump on the wagon like most my age do. I just got an iphone 4 days ago. its neat but I dont know if I like the connected feeling of having the internet in my pocket. Thats why its taken me so long to get one. And I'm thinking I was right

Cool jeep ! I picked up the aniversory edition bigfoot this weekend to build. I'm not into bigfoot but its the only mid engine kit I could find. May have to try and fing a diff ford to put on top.

Is it the off color or the shape of things that you dont agree with? The one car I've seen was a mess like this, but I dont remember if the engine bay color was the same as the outside.
