  1. Your beef is with the postal service. Everything I ordered from Mike's has made it in record time.
  2. Please quit flogging the horse for it is now a pile of pulp and only dental records can identify it.
  3. Nothing short of amazing!
  4. Looking pretty slick so far
  5. That is looking fine
  6. Holy moly! You hit that one out of the park!
  7. Nick, I got love for your Firebird. From one inexperienced builder to another: you don't have to put into practice what others say (especially me!), but at least hear them out since many of them have been building longer than your or I have been alive. In personal experience, following what these guys post in regards to basic prep work has shown substantial results in my last build. Keeping an open mind to suggestions, constructive criticism and self-improvement will make our future projects more satisfying in the long run. One bad building habit I have been trying to break is rushing. When I slowed down and took my time, the build turned out so much better. Hopefully the next one will be even better. Nathan
  8. Looking good.
  9. Polishing pearl coats: ok to rub with compound, or need I hit it with a clear coat first?
  10. What's the word I'm looking for... WOW!
  11. Thanks for sharing Brian. Cool stuff!
  12. Peter, thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Love the Car-Toon truck. To the others, going by the logic of, "what's the point?", you may as well reflect long and hard as to why you wasted your life building plastic cars. Peace.
  13. Holy moly! The amount of detail is incredible. Loving the grill and the engine is nothing short of remarkable!
  14. Or any jug marked 'XXX' (sold behind the drug store)
  15. Thanks Mark, that's a good point. If the kit came with 1:25 scale vinyl sheets instead of water slides I wouldn't even be playing with the idea.
  16. I am working on a build that requires a decal be placed half on the body, half on the windscreen. I would like to clear over the decals and windscreen with TS-13. I usually buff over my decals with the Tamiya compounds after I hit them with the with the clear and I figure the clear will buff transparent on the windscreen, but I just want to see what some of you think first.
  17. Started this during my Christmas vacation, but had to take a break from it when it started to grind my gears. This is where I had to take a break. A weak masking job and no clue how to go about painting it.
