  1. Wow, this thread went out the window! Getting back to the Possum Van, that is an incredible 99% likeness! The rolls of duct tape, duct taped seats and empty Tim Horton's cups make it authentic. I can imagine Red behind the wheel, Harold griping the dash board and Bill in the back tangled up in an inflatable raft covered in bee stings.
  2. You can't pass off a 1:1 as a model! Seriously though, that is FANTASTIC!
  3. As long as you are packing it in your luggage to go under the bus you could bring a barrel of toxic waste and nobody would say anything.
  4. You know it! Just don't tell Frylock.
  5. 2009 Ranger Sport 4.0 SOHC 5-speed auto, RWD. Wanted 4WD, but I was made an offer I couldn't refuse for buying this one off the lot last summer. Only 2800 miles so far, just had her first oil change two weeks ago. Precious moments. My first *new* vehicle.
  6. The A-Team was uninspired and stuck to a strict formula... god bless TV. This movie is going to stink like a diaper full of burnt hair, but I'm probably going to watch it anyways.
  7. Looks good for considering that's been on the shelf for 16 years. Used to build these AMT kits when I was a teenager. It's too bad a lot of people don't like them. Always thought the 90s AMT kits, especially the T-birds, looked great as shelf models and loads of fun to build despite the lower level of detail and accuracy compared to Monogram. Another thing about the kits was they all came with full contingency and tire decals. Not slamming Revell/Monogram, those kits are miles better and accurate, but the 90s AMT kits are way under-appreciated. Post more if you got them.
  8. Wow, you can use Wikipedia!
  9. Hang in there. I quit cold Turkey four years ago. Thought I was going to go postal during the first month, but simmered after the second and by the third it was pretty smooth sailing. Still don't like being around others smoking because they look so happy while puffing on those cancer sticks. Jerks.
  10. Looks like you're off to a great start with that roll cage.
  11. Toronto. It's a great place to visit, but living here is a different story.
  12. Now that's what I'm talking about!
  13. Thanks Pat. Knew there had to be something in the big smoke. I'm going to look into it. Nick, keep us posted if you guys get something going. Thanks, Nathan
  14. Slick! The parking lot diorama is a nice touch too.
  15. I know there is a body called Group 25 that puts on an annual show in Toronto, but I'm not sure if they, or there is another group that holds regular meetings as a club. If anybody from my neck of the woods knows of any, much appreciated. I'm also open to stuff outside the GTA. Nathan
  16. Nice. That's a great looking build.
  17. Looking good with a nice choice of color!
  18. Can't wait to see this one under glass. That interior is mint.
  19. Awesome looking build.
  20. Looking good.

    1969 Amx

Looking good Bruno. That color looks great.
  22. Thanks Chris, I used a Tamiya chrome silver "paint pen" to trace the bevels. Made quick work of the chrome trim with very little tears.
  23. Thanks Dick, you're looking at Tamiya "Light Metallic Blue".
  24. Thanks, if I remember right, the number is TS-54.
  25. Here's the Revell '69 Camaro Z28 RS kit that sports the cross 302. Paint is Tamiya TS Metallic Light Blue, with a TS-13 clear coat. Thanks for looking, Nathan
