  1. Definitely love the truck! Where did you buy the rims and tires? Who makes them?
  2. Nice builds! Now I really can't wait to get started back at this.
  3. Simply amazing! The detail is great. The Caddy and the Monte are my favorites. Keep 'em comin'.
  4. Totally love the paint scheme! Can't wait to see what it'll look like when it's finished. Very nice!

    66 GTX

Nicely done! It a very good likeness to your dad's car. Very clean build, I like it. Does your dad still have the car?
  6. I love these 67-72 trucks. Too bad that body style didn't run a little longer. Where did you get the 572 valve covers? Those are sweet! I have a kit similar to this that I've had since I was about 7 years old. I can't wait to break it out and redo it.
  7. Funny cars and dragsters have always been their own brand of race car. I'm not a big fan of many aspects of race car types (not that I dislike them or anything) but funny cars and dragsters have always seemed to make their mark in my mind. Nice build. Do you plan on building others?
  8. I like it! This is a very nice build even with the detailing that was done. Simple builds are good for getting you out of that "bit off more than you can chew" sorta feeling. Even a simple build as you stated can be good relaxing practice for a more detailed build.
  9. Very nicely done! Got any interior pics? More pics of this couldn't hurt either.
  10. Definitely one of the best truck builds I've ever seen. I like the look of the drive tires on this. Did those come in the kit?
  11. Hey, I think I have one of these kits. Now I'll have to go look. Maybe if you build a larger scale pick-up it would look like one of those legend racers sitting in the back of it. Cool build. I like it.
  12. Looks as if an acrylic roof panel would fit nicely so the interior can still be easily seen. Where'd you get the 'Waste Management' barrel? That thing is cool, as far as scale items go.
  13. Thanks for the info. It was the wheels on this kit that made me wonder. I think most of the COPO's I've ever seen had the steel wheels like this one. I just can't remember having seen any COPO's with rally wheels like the Yenko kit comes with. I kinda like the steelies over the rallies for a COPO build, myself. Either way, NICE! I think I may be building me a COPO......someday.
  14. I like your COPO as well. I like the green. Were these kitted as COPO's or is there conversion parts available to make a kit into a COPO? I don't recall seeing this kit.
  15. Looking pretty cool so far. Can't wait to see more. This thing is pretty bad *ss.
  16. Well done! That is one beautiful Nova! I hope, now that I'm getting back into the hobby, that I can make something this nice in short time. Again, well done!

    Man F2000

I have yet to try a big truck for a build. Looks good for a first one. I like the rocks stuck in the tread of the front tire, nice detail. Does this mean you'll be building another?
  18. I like the mix of bodies, great job with the finish. Another quality build from what I've seen on this forum.
  19. C.O.P.O.'s are awesome. Great job with the build. Now, if you can just build a Chevelle and a Nova to make a complete set.
  20. Wow! This thing is bad *ss! Definitely love the detail of the engine. Kudos for a very nice build.
  21. Cool build! I like the 70's style paint finish with the heavy metal flake.
  22. Great build. I like how the paint looks thin in spots as if down to the primer. That's an excellent detail.
  23. Me too. Love that 4x4. Nice collection BTW. Tell your sisters they owe you some models. Speaking of which, I just remembered, my sister owes me a slot car set.
  24. Anytime you give them a reason that makes them money they'll be OK with it.....I just tell my wife, if I die before I build them all she can probably sell them for more than I paid for them. We all know how some kits suddenly disappear from the shelves and become more valuable after some time. So she says "go ahead buy whatever you want"...all the while believing she'll be selling them later. Besides she does want to keep me happy.
  25. I love Caddy's, they always look good! Yours is definitely looking good.
