  1. I nearly drooled when I saw this kit. How did it go together? From what can I tell, it looks like it went together rather nicely. The color choice seems to be era correct as well and it has that modern touch with those wheels. I like it. I just haven't picked up one of these yet.....but I will!
  2. Very nice! I really like the stark contrast of the red and white. Again, very nice!
  3. There's just something about the stance of a drag car. Great build! Love everything about it!
  4. Yeah, that would be sweet. Then all you have to do is build a garage that looks like a dog house with the dog's name over the door.
  5. A bit fuzzy on the pics but from what all I can tell it looks pretty good. I would think that better pictures would still do it justice though. I do like the color of this build. I think it works nicely for these old Chevys. Good job!
  6. Very nice! I barely remember the movie but I do remember the car.
  7. The chrome looks dead enough to me. Maybe some specs of rust will do it some good too.
  8. The paint on the dash does kinda add that certain charm.
  9. Definitely, looking good! Can't wait to see the paint.
  10. That or maybe the chrome quality far outlasted the paint quality from the factory. Nice build! This thing looks like it would be popular in a place with a very dense population. I would envision a major city in like China or somewhere like that. Pretty cool.
  11. Cool, thanks! I'll be sure to check it out.
  12. Getting a model to have a likeness of a specific subject can be quite difficult. Especially when it comes to matching up specific components such as wheels and color. But I have to say, you made this one look easy. Fantastic job with this one!
  13. Pretty cool build! I wonder if I have enough stuff in my parts box for such a build? .......hhhmmmm? Well, it looks like another fun build for the ol'shelf, heh? Nicely done I really like the Rat Rod style, it has really grown on me after going to a couple of Rat Rod shows recently. Also after seeing some of the builds here on the forum. I guess one nice thing about a parts box build..... it's like building a model you didn't have to go out and buy.
  14. The interior details are awesome. Even the guy in the back seat has tattoos. I'm not usually into Lexus cars but this thing is cool! Great job.
  15. Thanks for sharing your detailing techniques. Looks like it's time to start clearing out some stuff from the ol' memory banks to make room for stuff like this.
  16. Yeah, what they said! This thing is great! I would like to see that color in bright daylight. You can barely tell it's blue in those pics. I'm not complaining, it looks outstanding even appearing to be black.

Builds like this are pretty cool. Looks like it was a fun one to build for sure!
  18. I've always loved these cars. The engine detail is really done well. The build is great!
  19. Nice build! The color suits it well.
  20. Looks like your best is good enough. I think it looks great! Nice job.
  21. Cool build. The dash and radio panel details are just right. I like how the door trim is missing on the front doors due to the decal on the door, just like the real thing ....... or..... at least when they use to build cars with chrome trim on them.
  22. Nice drop! Looks good with that color. Is there more pics of the chassis? Air bagged rears? I like the way the fronts tuck into the engine compartment. Nicely done.
  23. Interesting build. Can't wait to see what a little paint will do for it.
  24. Nice build. I particularly like the higher sorta 'gasser' stance as opposed to a more traditional hot rod stance being much lower. I agree, the skulls for headlights is a unique touch. Well done!
  25. This is a fantastic build! With so many good builds on this forum it's difficult to know what kinda build I wanna try first. Thanks for making this decision yet more difficult than ever.
