Excellent build. Well done!
Is this a scratch build or was this a kit? If it's a kit, whose kit is this? I had no idea stuff was available for this type of bike build.
I'm not into building bike per se, but they are neat to look at when done as well as yours.
You may have guessed I'm not a big ford fan but I will certainly give credit where credit is due. This thing is really nice, wow! Talk about a standout build.
I wouldn't want my builds next to this one on the tables at the show.
Looks sharp!
I think I would still find some sorta mirrors to put on it for the sake of that completed touch. It looks clean but appears a little 'off' without the mirrors, to me, that is.
Nonetheless, nice job!
I remember seeing the actual truck at a Monster Truck show back in about late '88 or so. That's when they were still running gigantic leaf springs on those things. It was so cool to watch a truck, that big, bounce on a hard landing.
Good job on the build. looks good from here.
The solder idea is great for the exhaust. I've even used a smaller diameter solder and then with a round metal object I rolled the solder flat to make engine brackets for the alternator. Now the alternator doesn't float in mid-air via the drive belt.
I also got the white wheels with the chrome inserts and the chrome roll bar with the kit I built.
Yours looks pretty darn good! Someday I'll have to take pics of mine to share.
I have a few Monster Truck kits I'd like to eventually build. I just have too many things on the bench that I'm ..... eh.......practicing on!
The cars are great and the garage setting is just over the top. I love it!
It looks as if you took those pics in the day light which really sets off the looks of the garage with the shadows and inside shade of the building. Well done!
