  1. I had one in my garage I have to check when I get home to make sure my better half did not throw it out when she went on a cleaning rampage but if I find it, its yours. In the case that I cant find it I will get a hold of my buds up there and see if I can get another one
  2. in 2 weeks ill check when i get home i may still have a can of UPS brown from when I worked there as Dennis is correct they do have their own paint
  3. Oh man I better start taking weekend runs I will need a bunch of these. Thank you Dave for everything you and Moebius are doing to help out the hobby!!!!! I am beside myself right now
  4. Ive always been a Peterbilt man, the company I drive for is all Cascadia's with a few Columbia's, Cascadia model would be nice but I always preferred the Classix XL for the long hood but I guess thats because 8 out of my 9 years on the road was in a longhood 379 with 6 months in a classic xl. Id love to see the reefer with options for both the sliding tandem and a spread on air since I hauled a 48' spread reefer I was scratcbuilding a 53'dry van but that project has been put on the backburner until I get more rivets for it.......i lost count on all the holes i need to drill a long time ago
  5. Landon, Gary is over in manheim, lancaster area
  6. johnstown pa we got around 6" of heavy wet snow, had to plow out the our shop lot, drop yard and then went to the firehall and worked on plowing our back lot in between calls good thing it warmed up today as our twp never did plow the road in front of my house
  7. This truck is gorgeous, all the photos of the weathering are awesome, one would think it was the truck in a garage before it got washed, excellent job. I built one years ago, have another one in a box and found the 379 hood/cab conversion for the true rig, just need time to get working on it
  8. Im over in Cambria county, there was a guy on here right down from you in Ephrata but I havent seen him in a long time and dont remember his screen name he used on here his name was James Martin, being that area contains a lot of martins im not sure how hard it would be to track him down
  9. I have 3 of the old kits......and a metal 379 kit and 2 flatbeds, eventually I will get them built but I need a bigger house for shelving for that......a series 60 for it would be nice or a CAT other than the the one with the kit.....maybe a cummins 444........now i wanna start on a spread axle reefer or a stepdeck for them since they are coming back if it turns into a big thing we need plenty of 1/16th detail parts to play with
  10. Congrats Chris, Im with Matt you guys that want one can have mine
  11. i used to haul "jersey wall" all over pa for a construction company.....have a model of my old rig to build and i was planning on making a foam or hydrocal blank and casting in resin someday

  17. they musta made a lot of reefers painted that way because i pulled one identical to the stainless/green one for 2 years, id like to build that one!!
  18. Welcome to the forum. Impressive builds
  19. Whoa! Doesn't matter what the GVW is the whole load would be replacement tires for that beast with room for 1 pallet to transport. I like the concept Tan, can't wait to see it finished. When I first saw the frame I thought it was one of those heavy heavy trailers where each axle pivots on its own. I really like the idea on this kit keep it goin!
  20. I agree with you on the Western idea Tim. I like the shade of blue they use Thought about paintin my 379 that color blue once I get it back
  21. I got yelled at by my better half for reading new posts on this topic while she was talking and now we get sneak peek photos of the kit......glad I'm on the road now she would surely shoot me for salivating over the photos and not listening to her, I can't wait til this kit is released
