  1. Looks Nice Kevin...You're going to bankrupt me though with all the nice new stuff you're bringing out.
  2. Nice....I'll have to find out how much you want for one.
  3. Nick....Great looking builds.....That AMT one is my favorite...I have a photo of one with the Magnum 500 wheels on it....Labeled a 1970....The 70 1/2 came out in February of that year.....So you could say that's a early 1970 Camaro.....Great job on all three of them.
  4. Are these still available? Very Nice build....Looks Terrific.
  5. I thought I would bump this back up so people could see how to fix the incorrect Duster wheel well on the Demon Resin kits out there....And upcoming MPC kit.
  6. Have you seen the factory stock version I posted on here?.....any updates yet?.......I can't wait to see this finished.
  7. Wow!....I have the 70' and 71' kits to.....Along with 2 of the 70' Montegos from Missing Link....This makes me want to finish up my Pastel Blue montego...I've had painted for 4 years..Very nice craftsmanship.
  8. VERY Nicely done....It makes me want to pull my kit out and start working on it.....Excellent job on the Torino.
  9. one beautiful save...I love seeing stuff like this....Love the car all around.....What color did you use on the body?...Also...all the panel lines look to scale.....Great Job!
  10. Wow....Very nice color....It looks great on the Camaro....I'll be watching this build for sure. Do you have the stock bumper on the paint?....I'd love to paint a 69' Chevelle or Nova that color....Nice looking build.
  11. I have a suggestion for you....How about making a 1973-74 style Dodge Dart grill.....And the factory stock 71 Duster full wheel covers...And also the 70-71 Dodge full wheel covers for the up coming 71' Dodge Demon....They could also be used on Challengers...Coronets....Chargers...And Super Bees.....I would need about 12 sets.....And 5 of the 73-74 Dart grills....Would possibly be a great seller to Mopar fans.
  12. From what I see.....71-72' Toronado front clip and a 67-70'Cadillac for the rest..This is going to be one heck of a sweet build!
  13. The stock Cutlass grills for the 70' Can be made from the custom one's in the johan kit...just cut out the 442 grills ..And cut the custom grills to shape .....For the 69' I used of all things....A disposable razor I found at a pharmacy....look for the ones that are blue or pink in color..Roughly cut a piece on the handle to shape....work with it untill it matches the opening....Bare Metal them....Then paint the recesses black..And you now have 69' Cutlass grills...The same handle could also be used to make the 68' grill same exact spacing on the vertical bars in the grill.....On to the hoods...All of your fastback 2-door Cutlass/442's had the same hoods...Only the wagons,4-doors and the formal roof 70-72's had the hoods you're speaking of....The 69 was the same way...Only the wagons and 4-doors had the hoods you're speaking of....Hope this helps you.
  14. This begs to be cast in resin.....Great job so far.....That front bumper looks perfect!
  15. Look under MPC...773 is the stock number...its on page two.
  16. I had three mint unbuilts at one time.....Mine came from Dean Milanos Model Kit museum..That's the one I held on to....Other two were sold on eBay to pay bills.
  17. Thanks Casey..Now what to do with the $350 original I bought 5 years ago....I guess build it.....I'm saving now to get a dozen of the Demons....And six of each of the other two Dart kits.
  18. Also the Petty Dart . And the 1975 Dodge Dart Sport. Demon and Dart Sport will be in MPC packaging and the Petty Dart is AMT....I hope it's a Dart Swinger like the original.
  19. I just looked on Tower Hobbys site....And it says its a December 2013 release.....I almost dropped my Kindle. Check it out.
  20. Nice looking builds......I had the stock wheelbase "Funny Hugger " AMT 69' Camaro my late uncle gave me when I was a kid...Stock Body....But the wheel wells were radiest for the slicks....Nice save on the AMT kit.
  21. Does anyone know what is involved in where to make the cuts to blend the Firebird clip and taillight panel to the Revell 69' Camaro body?..Any suggestions would be great.
  22. try Model Empire.....They have the 78' and 79' promos fairly cheap...You could cut the hood out of the promo body and kit bash it with this kit to make a full detailed kit..The hood and everything from this kit WILL work ....That way you dont have to worry about the gap left from cutting the hood out of the promo body......Nice work on the Monte Carlo...It turned out great!
  23. Try calling them...I've talked to Kenny on the phone.....He's a really nice guy ....And their resin kits are another products I'd recommend.....No junk from company either......I own 6 or 8 of the 71 Demon trans kits and the 66 Nova wagon.......Great castings...And fairly reasonably priced....No worries with them....I also bought the 71' Plymouth Scamp kit when they first came out...Well mine got heat damaged ...So I contacted Kenny and told him about the issue...He sent me a replacement free of change , And told me to keep the bad body....Now that's GREAT customer service.
  24. Let me know when they're ready.....I have always wanted to build one like my late aunt had when I was a kid.....Hers was Dark Blue Metallic with a white vinyl top.
  25. Are you kidding me? This car is one He.. Of a model.
