  1. I looked in my stash, and I had a Maverick Dodge kit. The slicks in the Maverick kit are more modern than the cheater slicks you posted.
  2. Steve, you made the cuts at the rear just in front of the spring mount?
  3. BNL Resins also has the correct W150 POWERWAGON decals for the front fenders. Ben has been a real help, and is willing to make things for us Dodge Folk.
  4. Well, I have the Jo-Han '63 Plymouth Fury, and I planned on putting the Lindberg Dodge/Plymouth Chassis under it. Oh Oh.... It seems the Lindberg Chassis is too long and the wheelbase is pretty far off in the front. The rear sizes up pretty good, but it looks like the floor pan is too long. The firewall base is too far forward, and the front wheels will be way out front. Seems there will be some cutting involved. Has anyone else here attempted this swap? I did a '63 Dodge and it fit pretty good, but it looks like the Plymouth body is too short.
  5. Wonderful paint! This is another one of those multitudes of kits I have sitting in the waiting line.
  6. Thanks folks. I have to take some more photos, so hold on.
  7. That's a great build with excellent attention to detail. Nicely done!
  8. Here's what I'm starting with. I got this on Ebay for $31.99 last week.
  9. Thanks for the input guys, like I said, it's gonna be like the car and it will be for the Nostalgia Super Stock Class. Steve contacted me and says the tires/wheels are on the way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nostalgia_Super_Stock
  10. Welcome to the group. Another NE Ohio guy here also. I live in the extreme ne corner right on Dreerie Erie.
  11. I was going to buy the wheels from Futurattraction, but according to his shopping cart, they are no longer available.
  12. The one that came with the slant six. Just skinnies and dog dishes in the box.
  13. I'm building a Nostalgia Super Stock Plymouth similar to this one. What wheel & tire combination would be the best to capture this look? The chassis is from the Lindberg 1964 Dodge, and the body is a Jo-Han 1963 Plymouth Fury. I don't want to tub it out, but I do want this stance. Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.
  14. I was telling somebody today, I'll bet a resin caster is gonna do some AAR parts.
  15. KDog, when are you going to have the '70 GTX back in stock? I sent you an e-mail, but you never answered me. When I click on the '70 GTX on your site, it just renews the page.
  16. Guys that post pics of their builds or pics of new models, and 2 days later their pics won't show up.
  17. There was a guy that brought a Pro Stock Ford Fairmont to the show on a trailer. He started it up and moved it into place where he was instructed to park it. I had seen this Fairmont at the strip a few times and it was not streetable. You should have heard the dorks commenting on the noisy trailer queen. I told one big mouth, "hey, it's a drag car, and it's not streetable" and the guy just looked at me like he was the smartest monk at the top of the mountain, and he said, "then he should have left it home"....
  18. I was at a show where a guy had a really nice AMC Rebel Machine, and people were saying what a nice Road Runner it was.
  19. Must have been where they hold the train shows.
  20. Far out! I'm liking this one for sure. I've been storing up parts for an A/FX build myself.
  21. You don't see any? What kinda car shows are you going to? Nobody wants them? WHAT?!!! This is from the Lake Erie Tri-State Mopar Club's annual show in Albion Pennsylvania. I just took a quick glance at my album and found 3 right off the top.
  22. I'm building a replica of my '78 W150 I used to have. I started out with an MPC Lil Red Express kit and parts from BNL Resins. I want the express my gratitude to Ben of BNL for all the help he has given me. One of the major mistakes of the kit was the placement of the transfer case and crossmember. After looking at a prototype photo, I moved things around. Also, the kit has a big block mishmosh instead of the Mopar LA smallblock it should have. I used the motor from the AMT '71 Duster. I have everything in mockup right now, and I'm waiting for more detail parts. I just purchased a distributor from MAD. I'd also like to thank Marty & Al from the Mopars In Scale Forum for the parts they have helped me with. It's great not to see that transfer case hanging down like a bull from the PBR.
  23. Retired Over The Road Truck Driver. No, I don't build trucks.
  24. For Mopar builders, it's gotta be Revell.
