  1. In the magazine, they say it's G Scale.
  2. I'm a model railroader beside building model cars. I subscribe to an online hobby magazine, and found this on their Youtube page. Thought you all would get a kick out of it. Fast forward to 6:00 to view the autorack full of Chevelles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RR5_rxCznVI
  3. Up near Ashtabula. Our mailman wouldn't deliver the mail today......
  4. Give that alternator a black wash.
  5. Looks really clean!
  6. You would think if they were going to update this mold, they would have at least included the proper tail panel trim. I've got 4 of the original kits sitting on a shelf, I see no reason to buy more. They should have done a decent 1969 Road Runner. I'm still holding out for a 1/25 1970 Road Runner...the Monogram just plain sucks as far as I'm concerned. I've been building models since the 1950s, and it seems like things should be better in 2014 considering the cost of these things.
  7. I'd love a 1966 Plymouth Satellite and a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. I looked at the pictures of the coupes, but they are not for me. The '66 Coronet grille doesn't look quite right in the photo either. I see RDXfan has a '67 Belvedere coupe now.
  8. Southeast of Cleveland. It's still there. http://www.thompsonracewaypark.com/
  9. I'll try to get some taken tomorrow or so. I'm still finishing out the final details.
  10. $40 bucks plus $12.50 shipping. It's a really nice body. Most of the parts are things I won't use anyway. Note: they did include the decals for the emblems!
  11. Thanks Guys! I'm kind of following a car that used to race at Thompson Dragway in Ohio. It had a HEMI in it though.....hmmmmm.
  12. It's funny, I got the kit from MCW in 4 days. I bought a '64 Plymouth a week ago on ebay, and the guy hasn't shipped it yet.
  13. Following Steve Prideaux's lead, I've modified a Lindberg Dodge chassis to fit my '62 Jo-Han Plymouth Fury. The chassis mod was easy following what Steve did, and worked really well. I'll post a few pics for now, and do updates as I go. My only regret is that it's molded in red.
  14. Here's my MCW 1965 Satellite fresh from the box. There are 3 bags full of parts, and a nice set of instructions with a color swatch. This kit was designed from the Lindberg 1964 Plymouth, and requires that kit for the chassis, etc. I'm very pleased with this resin kit and the speed that Dave got it to me. Thanks Dave.
  15. I looked at Keith Marks decals, but he doesn't have anything like I mentioned.
  16. What do you guys use for the underhood decals on your Mopars? The yellow core support decal, The air cleaner decals? VIN plates? I think this would be a good product for a person with the ability to print decals. A whole sheet of detailing decals with many to choose from and repeats, like half a dozen of each. Model railroaders have had these types of decals available for years..
  17. I'd love to see them re-release MPC 1965 Dodge Polara and 1966 Dodge Monaco. The molds were so beautiful, and I hope they are still around.
  18. Would the old MPC '57 with the flip front end work?
  19. Great news, I saved it in my favorites.
  20. I don't see a way to buy one of these online. The store by me is out of stock.
  21. Yeah...where did you get that?!!! I have one in 1/18 scale.
  22. I asked because I remember when I first joined this forum, I was pretty sure you could change it. I turn down the brightness, but it makes the letters harder to see. The font sizer on my browser doesn't seem to work here.
  23. Is there another skin available for this forum that is easier on the eyes? I suffer from diabetic retinitus, and the stark white really hurts my eyes.
  24. Price went up to $24.99 and there is no link to buy it online. My store never even had any.
