  1. Dave I feel the same way nad on a side not, I had a '87 chevy shorty truck with a vette motor, it was a carbureted version, nad I know it was from a vette, because I helped my Uncle pull it out of the his wrecked vette and put it in his truck at the time. It was a '75 Vette, that a guy rearended him in, was a write off, guy was driving a chevy astro cargo van and was movin' pretty good.
  2. I beleive the AMT '65 Rivera has them or something very close, My '74 GTX is wearing them in this picture. found a close up picture that I don't remember taking.
  3. I guess I'll get my truck and the old Cherry picker and pull my 350 out then.
  4. That's very true Dave, then there's other cares that have sentimental value in a certain condition, but in another condition it's just another whatever.
  5. Well it beats mine, I definatley don't wanna race.
  6. I agree Dave despite being a super fan of the Dukes, I won't ever own any of the vehicles that were displayed on the show except maybe something similar to Jesse's ford, or maybe one of the Roadrunners/Satelitte Sebrings. Now as for a '74-'78 Firebird Esprit, That's another story all together.
  7. Dave this is exaclty what I was getting at.
  8. Dave don't agree with me one way or another I really don't care, I stated my opinion, And most of the times after the cars were used they would be stripped down to nothing and the remainer crushed.
  9. Well if you think about it the popularity of the Dukes Of Hazzard saved more Chargers then they ruined. 309 to be exact, but that wasn't the total number of wrecked Chargers just how many were built.
  10. Harry TO me Grandma's Matador is collectible. My theory is, people will do what they want, regardless of what other people say. But please no more 1:1 scale movie and tv car replica's. Allthough one day hopefully soon I'll be heading that route ('74-'78 Firebird Esprit)
  11. Even I agree Harry and Steve, I'm tired of clones, either own 1 of the 15 Warner brothers sold at the end of '85 or don't have one at all.
  12. Jared I think they were in the regular taurus kits, I had the robocop kit and it dosen't have them, that reminds me I should finish that.
  13. Boy that looks great, I've built 2 of the '66 Fairlane GT/GTA's one as a '66 GT and one as a '67 Ranchero GT
  14. That came up pretty clean Brian, I've seen much worse with less paint. Have you deceided how your going to build it yet? I've got a '76 Caprice that'll be a firecheifs car soon as I get to it.
  15. Like a Collage type thing with Car, Driver and Were it appeared.
  16. I'm not so good with photoshop, so I'm asking you guys, I'm looking for someone to do me a few cars with there star drivers, similar to this, preferabley with the Movie/ TV name That one I'd love to have a better picture of rockford and the firebird put in, if this gets a bite I'll gladly post what cars I'd like it to go with.
  17. Disk and drum, Disk in the front Drum in the rear.
  18. You know what forget it, forget I ever tried to offer advice, just forget it.
  19. No I belong to A F body pontiac forum and the hoods, and decals changed slightly with the new front facia and rear facia.
  20. incase you need reference, I've been rebuilding mowers most of my life, and last summer, rebuilt one for myself, maybe these pictures of my mower with help, it's a early 70's Briggs and Straton That I put a 3HP single cylinder engine in, could use a paint job though, I should really sincranize the wheels oh and the body is a Noma.
  21. That hood is incorrect for a '77/'78 And keith marks Decals are a yaer to old, as they changed the graphics slightly in '77 They are incorrect, but only slightly, you could get away with it, I actually have a '78 Formula on my bench, I did the hood, myself and will be printing my own decals.
  22. I got a new printer and wondered if anyone has any pictures of boxes or bags, or kit boxes.
