  2. I have an Original Release box & instructions that I received with a bunch of original issues builders/parts and I'm wondering if the new AMT Retro Deluxe issue is the same? I've been wanting to build them like the original box art models, seems to be lately I'm wanting to do a lot of Box Art builds. Thank You. Nick
  3. Thank you Everyone Russell, I Started by taking the chrome plated valve cover and coating it in Testors Acrylic Orange, I then rubbed the paint off the fins with a tooth pick

  5. Thanks Everyone, Jim, that was one of the things I can't take responsibility for, the car's body was already painted, I foiled it and Added the decals, then polished it out, the front & rear bumpers also were already done.
  6. Got this Partially started, wanted to finish it, I painted some stuff and added a few personal touches. I like it, looks good with the box, and on my shelf. Nick
  7. Went with my best friend to get a few kits from a guy, these ones are mine, there were 6, we split the cost & took the 3 we each wanted. Nick It's great now having a close friend who also models, now getting to share bench time with someone else.

  13. Funny enough guys, right now I am working on clearing my 24th/25th projects to make room for this and my shop dio on the bench, wanna get both done this year. Nick
  14. I have these 2 Built up's that I am starting to restore, one is a Mercury Capri II, it says Ghia and 2.8 on it, it also had a '76 Michigan plate on it, the other is this Mustang II with separate hatch and bumper chrome, also has 3 piece rear seat and seperate center console. Nick Thanks Guys.

  18. Thank you everyone, I seen a '76 T/A in Cardinal Red last fall and I loved the look of it, so I built this car nearly Identical but using the '78 kit. Bob, the window tint does have a bit of a learning curve to it, but I had my buddy who I got the tint from, Torie (owns FX Tint), show me how to use it. Nick Edit: Bruce- It will have my native plates soon enough (Ontario).

  20. Yes it was a good kit to work with, it has it's flaws and gripes, but overall I enjoyed it. Nick
  21. Bought this kit in December, just finished it now, started it around January. Revell Re-issue from last fall. Plastikote primer, Duplicolor GM Cardinal Red, Duplicolor Clear, Scratch X 2.0 Polish. BMF, Some LLumar 1:1 Window Tint, Monogram '69 GTO Rallye II's. I'm pleased with it, still have some very small things to do, for now. Nick

  23. Got these of the local Kijjiji for $30, I thought it was fair, the guy was very nice and had a sweet '79 Malibu Wagon in his garage. Nick
