Thanks everyone, Tubbs they are more pictures of my truck in the pick up section. Thanks George, yes my C body is a Unibody car. However the brown car shown is not my good car it was my parts car that I stripped and scrapped due to extreme structural issues. Thanks Russell, the brown car shown is not my good car it was my parts car that I stripped and scrapped due to extreme structural issues. This is the Current state of my Good car. Have all new brakes (Drums, Shoes, Spring kits, wheel cylinders and front inner & outer Bearings) on order, waiting for parts to come in to local jobber. Nick

Cherokee Owners...............
Nick Winter replied to Joe Handley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hmmm that Cherokee Austin Posted is running around my area apparently.........have to keep a closer eye. I'd buy a XJ Cherokee kit or a Comanche Pickup kit. -
Thanks Guys, I really like the way this turned out. Yes It is a lot of relief to do something not shiny from time to time. Tommy, I like that Idea, I have another one of these kits and bunch of Coronet parts, Might have to build that one as after. Simon, I know a think or two about that too: Nick

Thanks Guys. Was a joy to build something I don't have to worry about the finish of the paint on. And like I said been there done it, more than once. Nick

What can I say, It Used to Bee.............................Was wanting to do another Weathered build and this started as one of my old builds, disassembled it and started playing. Had lots of mental reference. (My Toy is around the same stage and my buddies '63 Pontiac is nearly done). Anyway a case of been there done that. Nick.

What Do You Think was the Worst Car Made?
Nick Winter replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have spoken to a owner of a running Bricklin, took a lot for him to get it to stay that way, and parts have to be sourced from other similar vehicles. I'd Sell my toolbox before I'd work on a Yugo. Nick -
Bill, Was nice seeing you Yesterday. Yes I've gotten some neat stuff to build! Casey I love the Streakers box art and wheels too even since I saw the box art as a young child.

I have loved this kit for quite a while, started this one a while back, nearly a year ago. Have a few more still waiting to be built. Next will be a '53 3600 like my grandpa owned when he had his far in St. George, Ontario. Anyway. Modifications: '68 Corvette Front sub frame, GM 12 bolt rear end with leaf springs and shocks, Converted cab to 3 window, scratchbuilt receiver hitch, modernized interior, added power brakes from '68 Corvette, used rad from vette and added '32 ford electric cooling fan, Used nascar Basic engine, added '66 Nova Weiand valve covers, parts box pulleys and Intake as well as carb and air cleaner, used AMT '90 C1500 Exhaust manifolds, Parts box open rallyes (thinking MPC '75 Vette), lots more I forget. Based on what I'd love to have ( my own shop and a '50 Chev for a shop truck), so I made everything to my taste, modern Suspension, drivetrain, and interior, Classic Body Styling. And no I wouldn't be too worried about how the body looks, just as long as it performed well. So in 1:1 I would do a IFS swap, yep there'd be a 355 CI Stroker under the hood (In scale it looks like a 355 in reality when stroked it's closer to 383 CI, but it's not seen in scale, differences are internal). One Day....................................... Nick
