  1. The Ventura used the same engine as the AMT '70's Trans Am's. Not sure about wheels or tires though, If you need a shaker let me know.
  2. Scratchbuilt a working wheel lift, still need to build the mount and the hydraulics, but when done it'll raise and lower, it'll pivot, and it'll extend and retract. Of course there not finished products, they still need cleaned up and smoothed.
  3. Well I did a bit more, as a side note the wheels are on there only temporarily. and I changed my mind about the lights, can't figure a way to hide all that junk. mocked it up (sits pretty high right) Started on the bed, scratchbuilt some hinges so the storage compartments will open, I'll put tools and some other stuff in them.
  4. Here's a tutorial from another site. Never tried it but might haelp you Brian. Orange Peel Tutorial Nick
  5. This may help you out it's the instruction sheet for that kit, not sure if it's the same release though Revell '53 Chevy Panel
  6. Did the BMF, did the whole interior, BMFed the interior, flocked it, assembled it etc.
  7. Beleive it or not I actually got around to it Did the BMF, did the whole interior, BMFed the interior, flocked it, assembled it etc.
  8. I use Duplicolor quite a bit (Got a great deal on a unclaimed shipment of it) and one thing I'll say is that as long as you prime it almost always comes out great looking. Only problems I've ever had is that you gotta check the spray nozzels before you spray other wise you get a splatter effect, rather than a smooth spray, And you may also want to wipe off the spray nozzle after use aswell to prevent this later on. hope this helps. Nick
  9. Sounds good Jeff. I still got loads of things to do on the vette The only things almost done are the body (still needs BMFed) and the wheels/tires (still need sanded. But as my grandfather taught me, "I'll get around to it"
  10. How come Canada is considered foreign. that's bull ######. It'll cost me twice as much for the same thing, in which it would be cheaper to just buy them from My LHS.
  11. Romells still around got this in a PM: I havent been in my shop for a couple months now been busy with the business.
  12. I'm gonna use 2 diffrent sizes so that it telescopes aswell.
  13. I'm still around here. Just been thinking. Gotta pick up some more styrene stock and gotta get my resin dually's from Randy (of Perry's Resin). Did some sketching though of diffrent components.
  14. Looks very smooth and clean Jordan frankly I'm not normally one for big wheels without big tires wrapped around them, but they fit this truck so well.
