UMMM Matt I had a great Idea at 1:30 in the morning can you change that to a K35 it's now 4wd. Parts lay out. what I'm actually using what will combine and make a stock 400 4 barrel chevy engine wait that transmission isn't a turbo 350, well I can fix that what were keeping whats going back to the junk boxes top is the kit axel bottom is my axel made from a old Dana 44 rear axel and some sprue and the wheel retainers from the kit axel

Thanks Guys. Mike this is my 5th black paint job, I love the color black and wel what can I say I take great care and preperation while painting it. Working on the engine now will update soon.

Building this for a community build. got the kit for $6. Had it's engine block halves glued together, oh well I would have had to do it anyway. Color is Duplicolor Tuxedo Black, the Tires are from the parts box. Without clear with clear and decals

Did the clear and decals still need to do BMF

Like James just said Don't go over board, I had a older modeller say to me just in general about model building "If you think you can add one more thing stop, your done"

After lots of smoothing and priming, I painted it 3 coats of GM Tuxedo Black. That's without Clear. Stay tuned up next: BMF, Decals and clear

I did this after watching Cranky build a '55 Chevy truck. I used like VW Dave said a round dremel bit and then a dental pick, I used Testors Rust, then salted it, then sprayed the color, the removed the salt, then dry brushed some finely ground real rust over it.
