  1. The AMT kit is older and the front suspension is not up to modern standards detail wise.So I grafted in the front frame from an AMT ;57 Chevy kit.

  5. Yep!My back story is the builder found the chevy with a wrecked front end and decided to graft the front clip from an Olds just to see if he could!Very possible!
  6. Yeah!Mixed it myself!Just some Tamiya chrome silver and a little clear green and there you are!

  15. Wow!I can imagine the look on your face when the silver paint came out!Oh no!Well you can always repaint it so it is just an annoying inconvenience.Nothing was destroyed so it is all good!

  20. I have models over 20 years old with BMF and they have never peeled or dulled in the least.I have the Ultra bright BMF and it seems just fine to me!You probably got a bad batch!
  21. Started the Bare Metal Foil process,The stone shields i made look pretty good!
  22. I may decide to leave the divider and backdate it for a '49.I save not decided on the taillight issue as yet.It will be a hybrid and I will classify it as a mild custom.
