I ran into a problem with the tires. The whitewalls flaked off when I installed the wheels.I prefer the Monogram method of providing a separate plastic whitewall insert.I will use my circle template and Tamiya white to airbrush the problem away.
The kit decals are not very good with almost no adhesive despite being dunked in the water for a few seconds.I had to put a drop of Future on them to make them adhere.
It would not do to become ossified in your thinking.I know several older people who love the internet but my Mom refuses to even consider it!I try to tell her that the new computers are easy to use but she will have none of it!Oh well to each his own!
I used strip styrene to add the chrome trim to the door and rear fender. The stone shield was pounded out of strip brass and was not easy to make!Took much longer than I anticipated to make it fit.
Well I used my Dremel to grind off the trim on the rear fender.I will have to extend the door trim to match the fender trim using thin strips of styrene,.
I vote for my Paasche D-500 compressor.I purchased it in '88 for a C-note and apart from the time I sent it back to the factory in '92(fixed at no charge despite the expiration of the warranty)it has been a rock solid reliable performer. How about you?
