You kind of cheated by removing the belt driven fan and went with a flush mount electric one.

I was at a local car show yesterday and a guy had a nice mint green '65 Chevy hard top.Despite the BB 396 installed,it still had tons of room with almost nothing there!Changing a water pump would be easy and it seemed to have a lot more room than other '60s models.A far cry from all of the stuff the cram into modern engine bays but it is comparing apples to oranges!

Yes I was surprised how cool it sounded when i put the slide over the 12th fret.it really rang put!Yes that is the type of guitar I want but I will settle for a wooden Dobro or Gretsch with the metal resonator cones.

I found this for 18 bucks in 2006.Replaces one I received for christmas in the early seventies.
