  1. Looks great Niko, I'd say a black wash on the grille & paint the rear panel.
  2. Looks good John, I'm sure Da "Grump" would be pleased. Can't wait to see his '68 Nova!
  3. Neat looking body, always liked the aero-look '57's, the chassis looks good so far, glad to see a blower car from you. I'll be checking this build out!
  4. Tyrone is right, those wheels look great!, can't wait to see more on this build!
  5. Looks great, the headlights look real
  6. All the work is paying off Jack, the tubs look great, & the fill panel looks good
  7. The body is looking real sweet Niko!, love the build.
  8. Looks cool, what chassis is that from?
  9. Hood scoop looks nice Tyrone, waiting to get the 2 I ordered from CR via Slixx (they had to be back ordered), getting stuff done (& adding more reference photos) on my 2 builds, just waiting for my sister & niece to get back from Fl. so I can get hold of the camera again & take some pics. Any news on the El General decals?
  10. The wiring came out nice Niko, the shots of the body show a real nice shine, the 4th pic down has a great reflection on the roof, beautiful car,use to own a '71 Nova, 350 bored .030 over (replaced a stock 250 inline 6), had it painted medium blue metallic ( was dark green/light green vinyl top which I had removed), great car
  11. The entire car looks good Niko, the paint job came out awesome!, you did a great job polishing it out, all the details look great, while I'm not a big fan of Stockers & such (F/C & P/M's are my main fav's.) you build looks totally awesome, hope to see more!
  12. She sure does look good Tyrone, a masterpiece!
  13. Nice Hawaiian Aaron, I have 2 Galaxie trailers (partialy built), problem is they are in Fl., & I'm in Az.
  14. Ed, was skimming thru the pages & found this build, I must say it turned out great!, was wondering, did you make it to the model contest, if you did, how did she do? win anything, I'm guessing you did (unless Romell showed up ! LOL!)
  15. The rear end is looking perfect Bart, hope you start feelin' better (so that we can see more of your work! LOL!) Know what you mean about the back, I've had lower back spasms since about '85, can be a real pain (no pun intended)
  16. Cor, heres a few titles of books that I have in my collection. Now you will notice that I'm mainly into Funny Cars (Pro-Mods now also, but no books on Pro-Mods in my collection), so here they are : Funny Cars, Funny Car Fever, Drag Racing Funny Cars of the 60's, Drag Racing Funny Cars of the 70's (the only thing wrong with these last 2 books 60's-70's, are they are printed in black & white, no color pictures, but some great photros none-the-less),Fabulous Funny Cars, Diggers-Funnies-Gassers & Alterds & finally American Drag Racing. All those books are great reading. Hope this helps you a little.
  17. The rear tree looks awesome Clay,R2B2 sure does have some nice cars!
  18. The chassis/tabs are coming out good Chris & you are right, those wheels are beautiful. I checked out Micro Nitro site, had a nice set of wheels that I like for the front of my Nova, problem is, they don't come in 1/25 (can't afford the wheels right now anyway) think I'll just have to scratch-build a set.
  19. The car is coming out nice Jack, the display background looks great, have you decided which intake set-up you are going to run?, both mock-ups look good, hard to decide I'm sure!
  20. The car looks great Tyrone, the pics are not all that bad, that plain white background really sets off the car.
  21. The schematics/drawings are great Mike, just put them on my Reference Page on my Favorites for future reference. Thanks, it'll be a great help on some of my builds anyway!
  22. They look good Alan, have a couple sets of Whoopiecat here myself (Randy Walls, Bobby Woods,Larry Arnolds Kingfish ( my Favorite)), great decals!, do you still have the Invader decals for the 'Vette?
  23. Go for it Andy, as Harry says it's not that hard, there is plenty of info around & I'm sure there is PLENTY of help here if you need it. As I told you before, your models are excellent, you will never know unless you try, everything I am doing on my ADRL builds are 1st timers for me, lengthing the fenders, nose, all the scratch-building (chassis, wings, airdams, engine parts),plus doing all the detailing, all I've ever done up to now is just run spark plug wires (see my Dick Harrell long-nose AWB Camaro in your "Show Your Models"), the ADRL cars I'm building will have full detailing, how they will come out, who knows (certinly not me! LOL!), the 2 Nitrous cars that I'm working on right now will have a 4-stage Nitous system, thats a total of at least 7 solenoids (each, 7 fuel,7 nitrous), the rear suspension will be scratch-built, a rear swing-arm for the Nova & a 4-link for the Comet, I'll be using R.B. Motion rear shocks on both, I have gotten bolts, nuts bolt heads & screws for the engine detailing, I have never done anything like this before, can I do it, who knows, but I'm going to give it a 100% effort, I'll do it over a few times if I have to in a effort to get it right. So I just say GO FOR IT, it'll be a learning experiance for the both of us. Enjoy it! (I'm having a kick doing it!)
  24. Nice little piece, 1 question tho, I don't mean to put anything here down, but wouldn't that more of a Pro-Street tire then a drag slick/Pro-Stock tire, it still has the "tread" from the sides of the cap, you would have to sand those ridges down or fill them in somehow (putty or something), they do look cool & would be easier (cheaper) then buying a set of tires.
  25. The "Bounty Hunter', a great car, the decals look excellent Chuck!
