  1. Cute!, you should see a 38.5 lb. cat in a model box!(well, really you can't see the box), Jasper (one of my other cats, passed away in 2007),loved jumping into boxes I got if he fit or not, got in one box & I warched as the sides ripped out.
  2. Glad to hear 2 kitties got a good home. Freckles is a rescue, found on a street when he was about a week (or less)old, the rescuers think his mother might have been killed by a coyote, he now has a good home too, plenty of food, water, love & plastic/resin it seems!
  3. I don't think John has to say I'm Sorry to anybody, as was said before there will always be people just out looking for a mistake to rip you to shreds,I myself made a comment to John on his great Jag build,John mistook my meaning,he fired back a little,I apologized & told him I didn't mean it the way he seemed to take it,he wrote back telling me I had no reason to apologize & that it was just all the bad comments that were coming were just to much 7 he fired back,John is one of my favorite builders on this site along with a few others, to me,he is a great builder & a gentleman who is very willing to help out other builders. Keep on building & posting John, can't wait to see more of your builds!
  4. I'd have to say that my favorite shot so far is the head-on engine shot, looks awesome!,also have to agree with Stump & Tyrone. Great build.
  5. Looks good Andy, nice Nova/Chevy2 in the background!
  6. The wing looks good Tyrone, like that shot also, the wing & the tires look nice, spent 34 years in Fl., know all about the high humidity/temps,always hated painting the cars outside in the summer, now in Tucson (have had 32 days in the 100's so far, but very low humidty/even thou it has been a little humid the last 2 weeks or so, the monsoon season is here).
  7. The pump looks outstanding(a new word!), the detail looks great Rom!
  8. Nice fsh, use to have Blackmoors years ago(MANY years ago! ), oh, by the way, Freckles"the Destroyer" says he likes you fish also!
  9. If I'm planning on building Box-Stock, I just build, if I'm planning on a detailed model (like my Pro-Extreme Demon & my upcoming Witches Trilogy), it's all planning, drag magazines, model magazines, printing up pics of chassis, engines etc.& putting them in a binder, printing pics from different websites for decals & so on, I have some work done on the engines for my Demon & 1 of my Witches cars, have pics for the hood/sides of the cars(soon-to-be-decals). I have just as much fun doing all this as I do building the cars.
  10. I like both!,along with Alice Cooper,Scorpions,Black Sabbath(with Ozzy,Dio & Ian Gillian),Rainbow(with Dio(best!)& Joe Lynn Turner)
  11. Brett,I would think that a grille would look right,as for the bumpers, I think the front looks fine, maybe the rear bumper, the sides look good as is to me, but overall, I agree with John, whatever looks good to you,(for the paint, how about a nice Kandy Apple Red?).
  12. It's not really that hard, I've done it to a few (3)cars, my '69 Yenko Nova P/M,'41 Willys P/M & a Dodge Polara P/M, the Nova & Polara came out good, on the Willys the opening on one side looks a little big when the door is placed in, the other side looks fine, just go slowly & carefully, using the back side of an X-Acto blade (#11),take your time & be sure to post more pics!
  13. The bodywork is looking good Greg, always liked the nose you have on it, the front spoiler etc., looks good!
  14. Looking good, the panel looks wicked!
  15. Looks awesome Tyrone, the engine looks excellant, & as I said before the blue came out nice!
  16. The only thing I can say is, if you are not sure about doing a good job on it, either practice on a scrap body or just don't do it, either way I'm sure it'll be a great build,I've been very impressed by your builds Andy, & I'm sure your uncle is also.
  17. The Nova is looking good Tyrone, love the stance.
  18. 3 words... I give up!, O-K, not really (probably should)but I won't!& you can't make me!
  19. Can't wait to see this progress, the concept is great & totally different.
  20. Oh I'll be sure to come back, check this feed every day, the axle, brakes all look good, the tire/wheel combo looks good also.
  21. Lookin' good Brett, I think the only thing it's going to need is an updated injecter hat, that ol' bug catcher just doesn't seem right anymore.
  22. Thats the word I meant, I just knew that Dick Van Dyke said it, never watched either movie.I just love the shade of blue on the chassis.
  23. That was me with the Galaxie Trailer DD,& I know your right about the transfer of metalizer to the tires, but right now the trailer is back to sitting in it's box in storage, its not finished yet so no tires have touched it, I plan on clearing the flooring when I get back to building it.
  24. I don't know what to say, I've said & seen written so many times things like "great","awesome","fantastic", none of those really tell the story, the front end detail (heck!, THE ENTIRE BUILD!)is...is...is, I don't know a word that works Romell, wait I think I got it!, can't spell it, but Dick Van Dyke said it in (I think)Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
