Looks good, would look great if it was shiny instead of rusty.

Got a little work done this weekend. I dont have a lot of time to do much during the week so i have to get it when i can on the weekends. anyway, i got the dash sprayed ready for details, calipers painted and engine pretty well buttoned up as well as the instrument panel. Checked the fit of the engine with the cover on and it fits great, hood closes so everythings a go. thanks for looking. -
You are doing great work. I too love using machined parts on my cars. I have all the equipment at my disposal at work. Loving this build!

scott, the brake and fuel lines are 26 gauge wire. as far as mounting the brake line, i glued a block with three holes on top of the rear end that the lines goes into and then there is 2 more lines going out to the wheels. they fit tight to the floor pan so they arent really attached to anything but the front and back of the lines. thanks for the comments guys! -
Wow! That is some beautiful work! Everything looks top notch! Cant wait to see this one finished!

Got some paint on the wheels and the chassis is almost wrapped up. The wheels are painted with duplicolor black then cleared and alclad applied. Just need to glue in the rearend as well as the brake lines and fuel line and shocks. thanks for looking! -
Built these today for the rear suspension. turned aluminum rod down for the top and bottom pieces and cut spring stock for the coil. shock portion will stay bare alum and the spring will get painted red. thanks for looking!

Here is some pics of my 40 pu ive had laying around for a bit. Its a bit of an audacious project but i think i can make it work. i have a Ferrari Enzo kit that the paint had ate into the plastic of the body so it was no good and all the rest is just too cool not to use. it will get the v12 up front with the enzo wheels and im going to try to use as much of the interior as possible. I got inspired to do some work on it last night. I got all the suspension dialed in, bed sides cut and wheels sorted out.

Have you considered making it into a 2 door? Cut out the b pillar and move the c pillar forward and scribe new door lines. That would look awesome!! Nice work so far btw!

hemi, the headers didnt come with the kit. it just had the stock manifolds. i made the headers out of .063 solder and a piece of alum tubing just big enough to fit over the ends of the primary tubes. didnt have anything to go by so they are a little rough. ill probably remake them to look a little better. thanks for the complements! -
