  1. Looks good, would look great if it was shiny instead of rusty.
  2. I was told that at the show it was down to my mercury and your truck for best paint and you got it. im gonna get you next time!!! lol
  3. Real nice job Shane! Bring this one to the show this weekend i want to see that!
  4. Got a little work done this weekend. I dont have a lot of time to do much during the week so i have to get it when i can on the weekends. anyway, i got the dash sprayed ready for details, calipers painted and engine pretty well buttoned up as well as the instrument panel. Checked the fit of the engine with the cover on and it fits great, hood closes so everythings a go. thanks for looking.
  5. You are doing great work. I too love using machined parts on my cars. I have all the equipment at my disposal at work. Loving this build!
  6. scott, the brake and fuel lines are 26 gauge wire. as far as mounting the brake line, i glued a block with three holes on top of the rear end that the lines goes into and then there is 2 more lines going out to the wheels. they fit tight to the floor pan so they arent really attached to anything but the front and back of the lines. thanks for the comments guys!
  7. Wow! That is some beautiful work! Everything looks top notch! Cant wait to see this one finished!
  8. got some more work done last night. got my instrument cluster fabbed up, turned some engine pulleys on the lathe and mounted them, started smoothing out the front bumper and added a chin spoiler and got the lips of the wheels painted. thanks for looking!
  9. working on the wheels yesterday and came up with this.
  10. nice work shane! which ones are you going to bring to jeffs show?
  11. man that looks nice! love some big ol mopars!!!!
  12. Got some paint on the wheels and the chassis is almost wrapped up. The wheels are painted with duplicolor black then cleared and alclad applied. Just need to glue in the rearend as well as the brake lines and fuel line and shocks. thanks for looking!
  13. Built these today for the rear suspension. turned aluminum rod down for the top and bottom pieces and cut spring stock for the coil. shock portion will stay bare alum and the spring will get painted red. thanks for looking!
  14. Here is some pics of my 40 pu ive had laying around for a bit. Its a bit of an audacious project but i think i can make it work. i have a Ferrari Enzo kit that the paint had ate into the plastic of the body so it was no good and all the rest is just too cool not to use. it will get the v12 up front with the enzo wheels and im going to try to use as much of the interior as possible. I got inspired to do some work on it last night. I got all the suspension dialed in, bed sides cut and wheels sorted out.
  15. Have you considered making it into a 2 door? Cut out the b pillar and move the c pillar forward and scribe new door lines. That would look awesome!! Nice work so far btw!
  16. hemi, the headers didnt come with the kit. it just had the stock manifolds. i made the headers out of .063 solder and a piece of alum tubing just big enough to fit over the ends of the primary tubes. didnt have anything to go by so they are a little rough. ill probably remake them to look a little better. thanks for the complements!
  17. Got a few things done on the car the last couple days. Made rear brake lines as well as the fuel line from the tank. Also go the heads drilled for plug wires and headers and got the headers mocked up. thanks for looking!
  18. nice work!! what did you use for the brake line hold downs on the bottom of the chassis pan?
  19. Heres a few pics of the Lindberg/model king belvedere ive been working on for a bit now. Just lowering the suspension, using pegasus wheels and adding scratchbuilt details where i can. So far ive turned some rotors and a set of mufflers for it and i made the interior door handles and window cranks. thanks for looking!
  20. Thanks for the comments everyone! Jeff it will be at the show!
