  2. Got the color on the body. One coat bronze, duplicolor white and model master italian red. wating for a nice day to spray some clear. thanks for looking!
  3. Get the word out everyone! Last year was the first show and it was great! This one is on track to be a truly amazing show!
  4. major update this time! got the frame buttoned up, interior and engine almost finished and started on the paint work.
  5. painted the frame last night. here you can see where im going with the paint.......
  6. got a pretty good amount of work done over the last couple weeks. heres some pics

  8. so i made this today out of a piece of .25 in aluminum, machined with a .5 in endmill and finished with a .1875 in endmill. it will stick up thru the hood as shown and surround the stacks from the engine. Last night i got the interior tub in primer as well as the frame and painted the cage the same bronze as the front axle just havent got any pics yet. thanks for looking!

  10. Got some more work done on the merc this past weekend. got a simple cage built, headers made from solder, rear suspension squared away and i got a can of one coat bronze to try out for the frame, motor and suspension pieces. thanks for looking!
  11. Did some work on the merc this weekend. Got a new trans tunnel put in, inner fenders cut out, body side moldings sanded off, firewall smoothed off and body unflashed.
  12. Few more pics of some progress. Made some shocks for the front end and got the intake squared away with fuel lines ran. Im really stepping out of my element on this one. Hope you enjoy!

  18. Most of the stuff under the hood i added. It had the normal molded in harness on the firewall, i sanded that off and made my own harness out of twisted wire, added the heater hoses, battery cables, brake lines, fuel line, vacuum hoses and plug wires. It was definitely the most detail ive put into one to date and i am pleased with the end result. Thanks for the comments guys!

  20. Started on some putty on the interior. all the sheet is in the interior just got to smooth it all out. top strips are for filling the gap between the inside of the body and the interior tub. more to come soon.
  21. couple pics of the merc ive been working on for a bit. parts box hemi, axle, wheels and tires, scratch built springs, interior tub smoothed out. be a simple gasser build. thanks for looking!

  24. hey guys. when im trying to post pics from photobucket, a window will pop up when i hit post that says i am not allowed to use image extention on this community. i copied the img code and paste it into my message. anyone had this issue? thanks for the help!
