lowered the body down over the frame, z-d the rear end and cut the front axle to lower the front. thinking about geting a resin axle and chopped grille shell.

indeed, im working on about 5 different cars right now so this one is just kinda when i get motivated to work on it. will post progress whenever i have any!

thanks for the feedback guys! im not sure what color im gonna paint it yet. its gonna be a nice basic build not a whole lot of detail but enough. just a fun intresting build.

this was my first attempt at building something really custom. my dad build the kit about 20 yrs ago and gave it to me cause he didnt want the car anymore. i started hacking on it and this is what came out of it. its a stock chassis with nascar front suspension, nascar motor, scratch built cage and exhaust, acura integra wheels and someother goodies i had laying around

heres my latest long term project. its a 66 mustang body on a 1/25 nascar chassis. the fender flares are from a supra race car and the wheels and tires are from an indy car. lots of body work to follow.

im new here and im not up to date with all the tricks you guys know. i have a car i want to strip the paint off of and i have seen on here people putting their bodies in the "purple pond". what is in this that makes the paint come off? and how long do you soak it? i tried the oven cleaner and that didnt work. thanks for any help! jeff
