  1. Hello all, here is the Red Alert Chevelle I just completed, and as correct as I can do, unlike the Amt vintage kit this is the right year, and motor, and not a 4 speed. Yup the Amt kit has single headlights, like a 71 or 72, the 70 had twin lights ea side. The old kit has a blower set up, the real car mid high manifold and carb, also the old kit has 4 speed. Correct car is the automatic, H handle shifter. " I made one" well have a look and hope you like it as much as I do.

  5. Here is my 68 FIREBIRD. "Foose" not so much. I didn't use Foose tires. Wanted to go super stock stock Elemenator type. I like it, hope you will also, its wired up, and has battery cables etc. Thanks for looking, have a great day.

  9. Same here. Well I did thru the mail, and no prob, he did me right. Even donated a bunch that I sent in too a wounded warriors project, like 30 or so. Good guy as far as I know, and I only talked on the phone too him.

I cheat,I print a coopon, then buy a kit, 24.99 went too like 12.99, then got too car, wait a few min, then go back and buy some paint, "model master" its like 6.89, then use my ph coopon at a different register, lol yea I'm bad, lol Thy do have a decent Air brush supply, paint. Guns. Compressor, 40% off a 109.99 air brush is GREAT, or a 269.00 compressor, wow, I'm heading too HL now,lol

  18. joe, what is RA? I have the Branch Auto company on the side, AMT Etc..White letters for Red Alert, Ill take a pic and show u, the car has the 454 LS6 wITH THE T handle shifter, or some call it a H shifter,,,hope this helps

  21. Wife bought me a New Badger air brush and compressor. "not even my birthday" and she was smart enough to get a table top cleaning station, " love that women" married 31 yrs and still surprises me. Man, my 1st air brush and its a Badger, sweet!

Thanks guys, there was more to this then you can see as with most, we can't see all the mods like removal of the molded in exhaust and gas tank, lots of grinding an putty with styrene, lol, the little necklace chain I used as to hold the motor down like thy used in the old days, lol anyways, doing the Foose firebird next, just don't know how yet, stock, street rod, or super stock, thanks an have a great weekend, P.s. here are a few pics of the chained down 427: lol an a cpl of the modification, also the Foose bird, any ideas on how you would do this car will help, I hate the low profile tires, guess I'm old school,.
