yea jeff, the guy put down a big 100 bucks for this incomplete kit, hope i dont screw it up for him lol, yours is looking pretty cool, id like to have a real one like yours, just to hit all the model shows in,then to the beach.

got a buddy name john, and this is his 1 to 1 nova wagon, he asked me about a year ago to build him a model of it to display with the car at shows, and im just getting around to it,i started with a pretty nice original 1963 kit, got a resin 1966 cowl hood off ebay and spliced the cowl part to the 63 hood,in the parts box i found a set of american 5 spoke wheels and tires that looked alot like his,and got started today on what sould be about a week project, after removing the side trim and nova name plates,i put the car under primer,next will be the paint,ill post as it comes along. ;D

well here it is, i set up a little car show to take a few pictures,1966 impala low rider,with late 60's early 70's style,even put small donut streering wheel and color bar under dash,bellflower pipes,single hydo pump in trunk, here it is.

useing the amt 65 for the chassis but the resin came with a 66 interior, the wheels and tires came from a buddy of mine who sent them to me, yea one week after buying the resin for $40.00 i seen that revell is going to bring out the 66 kit,oh well, heres a caprice i built years ago,resin body with amt 67 kit for doner.

yes the miss deal funny car, ive always loved this model and yours looks great, the box art is just wild as is the model itself, i have two originals unbuilt and a unbuilt original Revolution funnycar, but im very lucky to have a signed print of the Revolution funnycar box art work singed by bob himself, bob peath, just like his models,they just dont make em like that anymore.

heres a little somthing ive been working on the last few weeks, a resin 66 impala, i cut and hinged the driver door, trunk and hinged hood to open and close, used house of color paint and cleared, and i made a pair of bellflower pipes for it last nite,going for a 60's style lowrider.will post more as it comes along.

we have a winner !! yes i was arould when custom vans were the thing, in 1976 when i was 16 i worked after school in a custom paint shop in california,we painted lots of vans and mini truckss back then, and there was lots of eye candy to curpt my young mind.
