    Renault 16...

    LOL! I know also in Italy there weren't to many, and this one had a kind of weird shape for the cars of that era. I notice the same on other cars, a that time they look kind of weird, now you look at it and you like it. Like NSU Prinz, in Italy they call it "Bathtub", the Renault R8, the Primula from Autobianchi... Now probably because they are vintage, we look a them with different eyes...

    Thank you all guys!!! Here a few more pictures, with the hood on you cannot see very well the motor, so here the pictures without hood. Parts I did not use for the kit.

  7. Finally done... Here two pictures... All doors open/close, trunk and hood door too. Front tires turn right/left, and the front seats gos up and down.
  8. What I did. Both the tail light and parking light works either way R/L.
  9. Some small progress... Grille, add Renault emblem, key lock, on the back the lock mechanism.
  10. Thank you all for the comments and support! @Darren, yesterday I start to mold the lens, and today I will try to cast them in clear plastic. Here some more progress on the door. The panels are done. Here glued on the door. Door done.
  11. There are some missing parts... Parking light and tail light are missing. I check every where I could, but cannot find them. There was a hole on the seam of the plastic bag, and who knows when they went missing.

  13. New door panels. Getting close on the engine bay... All the electrical, spare tire carrier, etc... The back door only open half, the pins/hinges need to be moved.

  20. More progress... Radiator and fan, modified from the stock parts. Trunk side interior scratchbuilt parts. Finally the body meet the chassis. Here you can see the radiator and trunk side body panel glued in place.
  21. Start to add some details on the engine bay.
  22. Nice!!! Love the color! Unfortunately there is no engine, but looks a good kit.
  23. Body painted. I really like this green! For have a matching color I ordered it from a company in Italy that I know for making touch up for cars, and since the company is from the 60's they were able to make me this color.
  24. Thank you! Geoff! I don't remember very well, I was 8 when my grandfather toke it to the junk yard. But my dad said that was a very comfortable car.
