  6. Thank you Pat! I'm not sure what it is the outlaw style. I'm thinking to build it stock, with little dirt under it only, like a driver. Thank you for the pictures Bill! That is exactly what I'm talk about. I already have a VW engine that I can use for this build.
  7. Here some progress... Chassis painted and carped flocked. Also put the spare tire with belt only for test fitting it.
  8. The chassis is almost completed.
  9. Thank you all guys! I will build it stock, like a car that was driven daily. I know, but I had this kit. About the motor at first glance and for what I remember It looks wrong. I mean it is correct if you want make a earlier 356 but for a post 1955 (356A and after B and C) it is a different engine. I will check and post picture later today.
  10. Looks good all in black!
  11. Thinking of summer... I cut the roof. Also I think this car looks better as convertible or cabriolet. Soon I will cut the part on top of the rear hood.
  12. Back from a trip in Europe, I want to build an European car... For quite a while I want to build this 356, car that I really like and I had the pleasure to drive (the 1/1 ) The kit is the Fujimi in 1/24 and it offer the option to build it as B or C model. Here the box art. On the side of the box there are some reference picture of the 1/1 car.
  13. Usually a couple of time at month, buy MCM and check the kits...

  18. When I was kid (11 year old) and I start to buy models, yes, the box art played a big role on buy the kit. Expecially because I buid different airplane and other military vehicle. They had great box art, expecially the one during combats, or war zone, that make you imagination fly! After few kits, I realized that the box art was different that what was inside the box. Like when I built (1990 ca) a Italeri F-8 Crusader, and it was all white, I know that I could painted it, but a that time paint, and painting a model was a futuristic things... After that, I just look for the subject, no a the box art. I need to admit that there are some cool box art around. I have some old kit, and when I build them I will keep teh box, because personally I like old stuff.
  19. A Camaro dressed up.
  20. The first picture in the link is from the Bomber here in OR, they will restore it and bring back to flight. They already start to restore some parts like the nose is done after a $300K job... It will take 3 years and $4million to have it fly again. In the past you could (mostly kid) climb on it and play in it during the stop a the gas station. After they close it because is to dangerous and it is falling a part. I toke this picture last year during the Bomber Cruise In... There is The Bomber Restaurant too, good food, this is the menu. And a lot of picture when it was used as gas station. And on the other side of the parking lot there is a little museum, with toons of cool stuff, plus part for teh B-17. And the Bomber Burger with the "secret weapon"!!! And if you eat it all, you get free ice cream!
  21. Beautiful job! I have seen the real one different times during the Piancavallo race. Bring back momories...
  22. Awesome!!!
