  1. yes. the mystery motor was the modern big block Chevy like came in the later 60's. 454, 427, 396 and such. I know they first appeared in the "mystery motored cars. The first production car was the 65 Chevy Malibu if memory serves me right?
  2. Clyde Torkel, chicken pit special!!
  3. Fastest chicken in the south!!!
  4. That Morgan Shepherd car was quick, he never won with it but it had speed.

  7. Hello Mike, What size / diameter round evergreen are you using for the roll bar? Thanks, Jason. Very cool build as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Very nice, can not wait for some pics of it sitting up in the air!!
  9. That car reminds me of the August bristol race with a certain black car.
  10. Bleach will remove chrome, 90% rubbing alcohol will to. For the olds motor not sure if the new 70 drop top would be period correct but it has the best detail.
  11. I will be following this one for sure, I think I will build mine as a modern quarter mile bruiser maybe turbos.
  12. What parts are you missing on the aero monte?
  13. I will be checking in on this for sure!!!!!!!!!!! Amazed!!!
  14. Outstanding detail!!! I remember those years very well, Mark Martin used to dominate at Michigan speedway back then and I went to those races.
  15. Is it possible to get a few chassis pics? I'm about to start building one and could use some referance pics.
  16. I received my Fairmont yesterday and pics do not do this justice, I have bought resin before and this is for me the cleanest body. The underside of it is like a styrene kit, smooth and thin and no warping and the grille and tail light panel about drop in out of the box.
  17. If memory serves me, Rusty's first race in winston cup he finished 2nd, to Dale Earnhardt, Atlanta not sure though. I would love to build that Wallace car, it was 1982 I think.
