  1. Was the Mirada also a recast of a Diecast?
  2. Thanks!!!! Now what color would you paint them? At least I feel better about which photo is correct for the time. Thank again! Everyone.
  3. The blue car was not a Hemi. . Thanks
  4. I have seen that one and I think it is restored. Missing sponsor ship decals and all prettied up. Thanks!
  5. I have this one And this one. The unbuilt one seems to have better proportions. I had no idea there are so many kits based on this car running around. Now if I could just find a mitsubishi celeste for a decent price to do a Plymouth Arrow. Keep us posted Chuck!
  6. This is suposed to be from the 71 Hemi Rod Shop Charger. Does anyone know what color the valve covers are? I am guessing blue. Thanks!
  7. Jason The chassis fit with very little cutting. Just moved the sheels adound a little and shortened up the wheelie bars. I have another one in the stash and am thinking of a Billy Huff Dart. Thanks again!
  8. Another outstanding Racer! Very cool!
  9. You have my deepest condolences. Words always fail me at these times.
  10. Slixx has a nice set for the Dart but never got the Challenger and Omni decals done before shutting down. That is a shame too, I am still going to build the Omni but thier decals do make it a easier task.
  11. Very nice work!
  12. The thin stripes and sponsorship decals are from Slixx. The rest is all paint. Here is the Challenger I made last year with the similar paint job. Again thank you all!
  13. Do you think those Soapy Sales funny car decal could work for the Pro Stock car?
  14. Thanks everyone. I have been waiting to tackle this one because of the unique hood and the paint is very challenging for me. Don at Reliable Resin came through for me with the stuff I needed to graft a hood together. The chassis is from a old W.J. Pro Stock kit. I opened the rear wheels wells slightly on the body and added the clear headlights and turn signals. The distributor is from M.A.D. and there is a cool photo etched lenco shifter from futureattractions. The tin work under the hood is from shim stock cut and formed. Thanks again.
  15. It is finally done. I tired a lot of new things on this one and not all of them worked out well, but it is a learning experience. Thanks for looking!
  16. When real life comes knocking. And working 65 hours a week.
  17. That is horrible news. I use their decals all the time. This will really kill many of my planned builds as I just do not have the funds to buy up a large stock pile of Decals. I wonder what caused this, them seem to do a good deal of sales with in the hobby and I read speed city and other resin casters had tie ins with Slixx. Very sad indeed.
  18. Really looking good!
  19. Getting closer. All the glass is in and the striping is done. I am not happy with the back end and tail lights, but overall I am pleased.
  20. Outstanding! The best build I have seen of that kit!
