  1. This Packard is a model . No doubt about it . Thanx Harry ..
  2. I like it , well done . Nice finish . Thanx..
  3. Hi , I like this project and how it turned out . It may not be too awful important to do foil to post here . I think your build has appropiate shine and gleam on your hand painted trim . I myself have a resin (one of the first I bought)back in the '80's . Foil was a new thing . I applied foil on the body . When I removed the excess , so did my Factory Paint . This was the first time I bought that paint . I am willing to try again . Next time don't tell you didn't use foil . Thanx..
  4. I had the same issues with the Lindberg '53 Ford . I gouged out the paint with a # 11 Exacto . That is "wewy cawfully , to quote Elmer Fudd . Thanx..
  5. This is a real deal also . Harry , you are slipping . Thanx..
  6. I agree with Art . You don't know how much work it is to make a casting until you do it yourself . You deserve to enjoy these masters as much work done by you and build them . I have a Master I won on Evilbait . I will build it as soon as I have the funds to buy the rest of the parts . Thanx..
  7. use a clearcoat enamal over them before using them . Enamal isn't hot like lacqure . This coating will prevent them from crumbling . Do you have a scanner to copy into your Computer ? If so , scan a copy nad keep it . If the worst happens , perhaps you can find someonre to make custom decals for you from the scsn . Thanx..
  8. I soak the resin parts at least overnight to remove the mold release . Sometimes I forget and it turns into weeks . Wash with Ivory soap and thouroghly rinse . Ivory leaves no residue being 99.9% pure soap . No lanolin to soften skin to combat the drying effects of the soap . After a couple of days , spray with adhesion promoter . Then primer following the directions . I would fix any flaws before thr Adhesion Promoter . Use this step especially if you plan to use foil . I hope this helps ..Thanx..
  9. Hello ; I have some 8 tracks . Rock and Country genre . Would you like to trade for these ? Keep on posting ..God Bless you and yours ..Dimaxion ..John Jr. Landgraver

  10. This is for real . This is all I have to saty . End of conversation . Thanx.
  11. I like it . well done . I have one I am restoring . I hope mine turns out half as well . These were ment to build . Thanx..
  12. Check . You will find all three of these lincolns in resin . The Mint model was out of my pricerange . It is also 1/24 . I try to stick with 1/25 . I am forced to collect 1/24 due to unavailability . You understand this I am sure . Thank you and Happy Building ..God Bless you and yours ..John Jr. Landgraver

  13. This AAM conversion kit was done in the long ago times . I like to look at it almost daily . Thanx..

  18. Wow , I vote model . My reasons are somethings are .... . I won't give the show away .
  19. I don't remember the cost . I acauired this from Ray at a Toledo Show I used to attend . The wires I acquired in a trade this year . They actually look like the fake covers available on these 1:1 . Real wires could be had also . I just landed these this year in a trade and it was the final missing piece to complete . The cleanup was minimal . Fabricated a Promo type chassis . I believe Steve (Kohler) sells the kit with chassis . The tailights are Testors Stop Light Red . This is one of my favorites . I think it (1:1) had a wild and crazy 90 HP supercharged inline Flathead 6 . The parts for this were taken from the production Henry J . Allot like the Chevette and Fiero . I did like the relative ease to finish it . Thanx..
  20. Hi and thank you . The caddy is a promo I landed from Evilbait . It was orange and many defects were evident . I rubbed/polished out the finish after dissasembly . The orange hue was from cigarrette smoke . The 'flame flake' or whatever Cadillac called it was a nice surprise . I fixed the flaws by detail painting . A saved junk Promo . I am more pleased and proud to have this rather than what I had started with . The trim is hand painted , not foiled . I still shy away from that process since an early failure with the then new product . Thanx..
  21. I know , you had garfield finish it when you were stuck on the glue ..Thanx..w
  22. I am having issues posting . I did post an underhood ...I cannot see it either . In fact I posted these pictures and I saw only red x's . I deleted 4 tries . I was disgusted and gave up . Thanx for looking . I have been tryinfg daily since my original post last year . Every day . Thanx..
  23. I am looking at red x's ! This is a R&R available from Steve Kohler . I did buy this from Ray before he made the chassis . I scratched a promo thpestyle Thanx..
