  1. Nice job Sam, I like the look of the two tone.
  2. My hobby room is my garage in my rowhome converted, the desk is 3/4" plywood painted and shellacked,It's almost a full sheet,I think 3'x7. I sheetrocked, drop ceiling and painted concrete floor. I made what turned into a convenient closet for my breaker box, last week while at work a breaker flipped, boy was the wife surprised. I would like to display them now that my dirty little secret is out Or get some more of these bins.
  3. Jeff the Buick came out great. I will heed the advice and look into R&R when I have more experience. Man A 71 Impala Vert,I could use one of them I was checking out a 78 4 door Cadillac Sedan Deville.
  4. Anyone familiar with this product? I viewed this product on ebay,is there a direct to source alternative? User (Noob) friendly? Thanks in advance.
  5. I've been building for 14 months and have accumulated over 200 non built kits.About 30ish built so far .
  6. Because you need to hear what I have to say! I basically share just to have others with same interest to bs with. If I tell others about models (friends/family)they look at me like I have the plague.
  7. Onr thing about Super Clean I just figured out is that it loses it power after some time. I pour the gallon into a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. I used my first bucket of purple for a year and about 20 plus stripped bodies. Lately it was taking a lot of soaking and elbow grease to strip a body. I changed it recently and it seems more potent when new.
  8. Bri,I've never seen it either,so I had to have it!
  9. I have an open 64 hardtop that I believe is missing either a windsheild or taillights, possibly both! (Available at Modelhaus) I will check this evening when I get home and pm you.
  10. Rommel, congradulations on a well deserved feat. I have glanced over the build a few times and it is awesome work with many much appreciated tips. You are very much an asset to this forum and I would vote for recognition in the mag for your record smashing build.
  11. Your replica is spot on,nice paint jobs on both. Your friend is going to be very pleased
  12. Definitely join! The drama won't affect you if you don't participate in it.
  13. There's a whole topic for tips and I believe it is the place for them not in someones specific build thread,it comes off as demeaning there from what I've seen. Plus I think anyone that is pretty good at building got there from experience not from being berated on a public forum.
  14. I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head. Not everyone here is a pro!
  15. Few things this week and the bonus is the Modelhaus catalog .
  16. Nice post count, you better make another post before you start your move In all seriousness, good luck and congratulations
  17. Great color and wheels. I like the half roof as well. I love it as a lowrider. I've never really seen one in person but seeing models of them has expanded my interests.
  18. Nice clean classic.
  19. Sorry the wifey banned me from facebook!
  20. I'm in the same boat.I sent my part of the trade 2 days after my partner sent his,he received my part of the trade a week ago and I'm still waiting. I think he posted his on the 2nd of July.
  21. Looks killer for sure, your paint work is awesome. Any tips?
  22. Truck looks awesome, great job combining the colors. The wood looks fantastic, especially the surfboard.
  23. Looks better then the real thing I Like what you did with those wheels and your paint is super shiny smooth.
  24. That hurts . Well it was/is a beautiful model and at least we get to see it in pictures. That grille looks awesome,so does all the detail you put into all your builds.
