  1. I bought my kit recently, so I would think that they decided to add the prostreet wheels in the kit, too bad they forgot to add the prostreet tires to go with it...
  2. I used a brand new BMF sheet and this time it was way easier than before. My old BMF sheet was bad, I threw it in the garbage right after I finished BMFing the AMX. For the tires I used a Trimbrite tire lettermate pen I got at Canadian Tire store. It's a bit tricky at first, I used some old tires to practice before painting those tires. It does a great job. BTW, your Superbee's chassis looks awesome. Nice detail, that Superbee will look great!
  3. Those resin parts are bad! I remember seeing some resin parts on ebay that looked like this, can't remember the sellers name tho...
  4. Some progress made on the AMX, I did the BMF tonight and detailed the wheels and tires
  5. I was wondering where our snow had gone, now I know...
  6. On this Chevelle, I just added a few drops of black in the clear and sprayed the inside of the windows
  7. I don't see a problem in changing screen names. I use the same screen name on many forums, other forums I had to choose another screen name because the one I wanted was already taken.
  8. Muscle cars! My favorites! I got a few; 1970 Chevelle SS 1964 Hemi Belvedere 1968 Road Runner 383 (replica of the 1:1 I used to have) 1966 Chevelle wagon 1969 GT500 1970 Challenger R/T 1970 GTX 1972 Chevelle SS 1971 Duster 340 Maybe not a what you would consider a muscle car, but those have put many muscle cars to shame; 1985 Shelby Charger (2.2l turbocharged four banger)
  9. Hey Don, which kit did you use to build that Cuda? Looks awesome! I gotta build one for a friend that has a 1:1 exactly like this!
  10. Nice! An AMX! Looks like a nice kit. I'll be looking at this build I'm currently building one too for the musclecar community build. Mine is a '69, an old Johan kit.
  11. I got it on cardomain.com
  12. The more I look at it, the more I like the color on that Challenger
  13. Ha! Didn't know this one had an automatic transmission. Gotta get this kit...
  14. Body is painted
  15. Nice work on the Challenger! I did some work too on the AMX, chassis is almost completed, engine is in and I fabricated the exhaust (decided not to use the side pipes). This is almost a parts box build. The other chassis you see in the pics is the kits all molded in chassis.
  16. Man this will be nice! Great work all around! I gotta get this kit.
  17. http://www.motormaxtoy.com/
  18. Nice!
  19. Nice list! BTW, I believe lownslow's Challenger is a '70
  20. You know what, I really like that bahama yellow paint on a '71 Cuda, and I have a '71 Cuda kit in my stash... that's the color it will be when I get to build this one
  21. I think $10 for shipping a kit is ok. That's what it costs me to ship a kit (IM from Canada). What is outrageous is when someone wants $20 or more for shipping a kit . And I see a lot of that on ebay.
  22. I don't have a bench either... just do like I do, build on the kitchen table. I spray paint the bodies and interior tub in the garage, and then everything else is brush painted and assembled on the kitchen table. I would like to have a bench, but there's not enough space here to have one.
  23. It's just regular enamel testors paint, color is wood. It looks darker than it really is on the pics. Still not sure about the wheels/tires I will use... The color for the body will be bittersweet orange metallic like this one;
