The Lone wolf is painted with Duplicolor Light Blue frameis dupilcolor For black the container is painted light french blue to show slight weathering the trailer is painted with duplicolor red the truck is detailed witih brake lines and fuel lines The black Ford and trailer is painted with Duplicolor ford black and both truck and trailer is detailed the trailer corrected to the right height

Ihad a 48 Packard Hearse back in the 60s it was black with a maroon interier and vinal roof and black leather seat -
Here is a pic of the interier of Black Beauty a 359 tri drive the lighting makes it look lighter then it actually is

if your hobby shoppe carries Bager paints try 16-87 DM&IR marroon it may be close to what you want for the interier

From looking at the site looks like a bloke named Doug Musey built it -
so far 3/4 finished with can do till a proper cab and hood comes out so going with a 359 verzon of a heay tow truck got a frame streched way out for anouther build a 377a almost finished and beal tanker as well also 3/4 finished with a 40 year old AMT T bucket and laid out a B Train tanker set also laid out a Log trailer from an old Italeri trailer kit Ihave roughly 7 more weeks to complete every thing I have going on so far adding in havea Detroit painted and detailed and a Kitty detailed and painted

In the 90s and further back AMT did sponcer a model contest in conjuction with the World of Wheels car shows and Street Rodder magazine my daughter took a first place and best of show at the last World of Wheels when it was held in the DC Armory in doing so it put her in the National show held in Detroit at Cobo Center in which she won the over all in the Junior class that was in 1996 the last World of Wheels show for the show sesion. Engraved on the throphy is 1995 Model Car Nationals presented by AMT -

I use both on my models and never had a problem with any except one was Model Master aluminium which took three days to dry I like the Vallejo and Bager for the range of colors and use Tamiya clear red , yellow and orange for marker lights also it would depend on the color you want to use at the time but as I stated I never had any problems with enamels or acrylics -
Thanks Old Coyote that was what I was looking for now I can finish both of them up

When visiting my daughter some time back Ihad the opertuity to look over a new Lonestar at a dealership down the street from her I wil say I have always beena Pete KW and Ford truck man but if I was to get backinto driveing I think it would be in the Lonestar when Volvo introed thier new VN series Ihad the opertunity to see the one where I worked at ordered being built from stat to finish at the plant herein Va Iam now waiting on a brochuer on the Lonenstar from International to add to my files of other Trucks -
The Pete 353 is already out I saw a build of it on anouther forum it is called Western Life

Hey Whale pleading the 5th laughing but yes I am one of you all andhave been sence I was 13 am 62 now -
I finaly got the paint for the Detroit engine and waiting onthe Cat yellow to comein broke down and bought the new release Pet snap kit for the engine and grill for the wreaker kit will build as a 359 waiting for a resin 379 body and hood to come out Havent decided with truck to use the Detroit in yet painted it yesturday and half detailed already this morning also the Cat engine is half detailed useing the articals by Ken Smith also while waiting for Paint to dry cut planks for the floor of a break neck low boy I started 3 years ago

Ed the kits I was comparingit to was from a ford dealer ship from 1965 the greenand white striped box in the new release ther is a I think a 1/25 scale box also included I wil be doing both rods that are the orignial kits from 2when my Dad bought a new 65 ford Fairlane as wil l be the stockers one wil l be the high top sedan and theother a pick up fully detailed useing the book Model T fords as referance it has beena long time sence i have built a car

Highway those are barrels onthe front fenders tied down. every thing you see is in the kit it could also be built as the custom that later showed up in the tv show I got the thread from Michelles also some white for para chut lines from the frame to the chut pack
