  7. I know one place. Its Finnish modelling site, but there is pic what you need And use some translator machine if you wanna read text http://www.pienoismallit.net/kirjoitukset/artikkeli_372/ Hope it helps... And Chrome is better than in pics in there.
  8. Thank you guys for those nice words! I really should try that weathering for more detailed engines with wires and hoses etc stuff It really makes engine look as its used.
  9. It looks great! Where are those rims coming from?
  10. Any chance for having pics to rewiew whats in box? I dont have any variations of that kit, but i am interested if its worth of buying?
  11. Thank you guys for those nice words Color is Revel or Humbrol metallic grey, i dont really remember better. Monty: I first painted it orange, then i drybrushed it with steel and rust colors just little chips here and there and after that i blackwashed whole engine with thinned matt black so that paint flows nicely in corners and holes etc... Hope that helps
  12. I did this model in year 2008. Its my first vinyltop. Not a contest winner but i like it. Some parts are missing too. All comments are welcome
  13. Very nice. Color looks great and those wheels/tyres and engine are great choice!
  14. WOW! That is absolutely beautiful car with cool rims and perfect stance! Keep up fantastic job!
  15. Mercury got some color!! Revell satin black and i use those flame decals from kit Cheers...
  16. Like i said and like you said. That "how you drive" thing was poor joke And someone says that all under 6 litre engines are mopeds But engine makes muscle car that is fact! And here is one more... `70 Buick GSX
  17. Nice! I dont even own any micrometers or library of references for cars. What really makes me happy is that model kit looks nice, it is nice to build and you recognize what car it is. I dont really care if there is some little detail differences but it should be well detailed with many optional parts. I really like these Revells special editions becouce there is so many optional parts/decals in them I cant wait to see this in hobby shop shelves. Olds 442 is one of the coolest muscle cars IMO! BTW in Finland all new model kits cost about 52$, yeah i said 52$... How about that... Do i need even tell reason why i order my model kits overseas?
  18. Update for engines. Little work still to do, but i hope that i got Mercurys paint job started soon. Cheers...
  19. Very very nice! Great details in engine! Me likes
  20. Very nice! That kit should have better chassis and separate lights in grille, but it looks nice in that way too.
  21. I really like those decals! Its even nice to have some model kit with them Ill buy maybe 2 of them
  22. Its not about the engine, its all about how you drive I did won some street races with my 1.7 litre Lada when others drived some BMWs or Nissans They even asked did my Lada hav a turbo! Nope it was orginal 1.7 litre injection. What was really fun in that car it was `97 model and it still looked like some early ´80s models Well maybe that 6-cylinder Duster is not muscle car more than 4-cylinder Lada. This is good topic, nice cars all around.
  23. Here ar my built muscle cars. `70 Chevelle SS `70 Challenger T/A `69 Shelby GT500 `62 Belair 409 `07 Shelby GT500 Wiew more pics in my topics Cheers...
  24. So this is that cave where you do all your artwork. Nice clean place
