  4. This is my HOLY GRAIL I spent 10 years chasing it and finally was lucky enough to find one . This one is mint and I have been looking for another ...builder ,scrap car, or anything and have never found one , I have only seen 3 in my lifetime. I guess I'll have to get it casted Chuck and NO !!!!!!!!! ITS NOT FOR SALE OR TRADE LOL

  6. well guys being bored today and waiting for clear on other cars to dry, I dug out a rebuilder of the Rupp & Steffy Cougar clear body car. The one that the Model King brought back out has the incorrect body so lucky that I saved an old one , I started by moving the front wheelwells forward and caught it painted and decaled and now the clear is drying on it . I will also lentghen the chassis to now fit the stretched body. thanks Chuck

  8. Hi guys , I got bored last night so I thought I would throw a body to gether with my decals for the Connie Kalitta Mustang . Its not perfect but I'm happy with it as a shelf car Chuck
  9. well I got the car all smoothed out and painted , now I'm just waiting on decals from Slixx to do the Kelly Chadwick 1969 Camaro funny car . I also found out that the Model King Camaro has the same wheelbase as the Polar Lights Mustang funny car kit , so a the chassis will come from a donor Mustang kit Chuck
  10. I also use the same process when building Pro Stock Vegas. I took a quarter from a junk Bruce Larson Vega and casted it so I could fix the Bill Jenkins Vega and to turn stock Vega kits into pro stocks here are some of those pics
  11. I cut out the hogged out quarter panel here is what it looks like after the installation of the new quarters this afternoon I will make a mold so I can cast them . the one above is only taped in place . thanks Chuck

Hello guys how many people bought the 1969 Camaro funny car that The Model King released , only to find out it had hogged out rear wheel wells and there's not much you can do with it (I did) LOL. Well I have doing so research and found out that car was dereived from the AMT 1969 annual kit (AKA the Gene Windfeild Camaro ) which is an expensive kit to obtain. I was able to get my hands on a nice built up and ripped it apart and stripped it . I was able to cut the quarterpanels from the annual kit and graph them into the funny car . I am going to cast them because there are several bodies I want to fix . Here is how I did it with pics Chuck funny hugger camaro AMT stock Camaro where I'm going to cut the stock Camaro stock Camaro cut I laid the stock quarters on the funny car and drew the outline of quarter panel on the funny car so I knew where to cut

Hello Guys this is Chuck who the Dyno Don decals and I just wanted to let everyone know I just spoke with Jack Smith and he is doing the Bob Glidden blue and white car like in this pic I have this set done and this set is 90% done and this set should be done next week I just wanted to let everyone know what will be available within a couple of weeks thanks Chuck

  23. Well here it is all mocked up and just think I only got this body on Saturday Chuck
  24. here are some pics as the chassis progress, I used the frame from the 55 also and atttached it with tape after I narrow the tub to fit the car . The frame also had to be narrowed and I removed the A-arms and will reattach them after the chassis fits Chuck I also had a set of alumunum wheels from Micro Nitro that I will be using
