  1. Model meister has some nice stuff but the shipping wait will drive you nuts
  2. I want to know who let you into my garage so that you could snap those pics. I wish. Do you know where that museum is located. That would be a fun trip. Any ways, your model is going to look great. I have on of these from tamiya but other kits just keep jumping it in line. Oh well cant wait to see yours built up
  3. I loved this kit so much i bought another. You did a great job and your model looks awesome
  4. You could always do a boxster type 10 or 12 clyender or one long rotary engine if a standard engine wont work. That is if you dont have something even crayzer in mind
  5. It is gone take alot of scratchin to get it to look like this Well im gone paint it diffrent
  6. It was a ebay seller. The parts in the listing all looked great. I realize that it is resin and the kit has a "one off" feel but i would not put my name on it
  7. Verrrrry dissapointed. I paid a bunch of cash for it and i got little usable parts. 1/2 the parts are a mess and wont be used. The other 1/2 will take a ton of work to get a decent part This is all i will abe able to use This is just a hot mess (excluding decals) that i cant use.
  8. show me the car in that picture worth restoring??? I see a more-door and a Datsun... I see you have poured a small mint into your 1:1 over the last year. A car i would never spend a dime on. Now that z, well, i would do the same to of you did on your car. So basically, it is up to the beholder on what they would love to restore.
  9. Anybody have a preference or know of a better epoxy putty
  10. I highly doubt that those lap belts are sufficient. This thing is a rocket ship
  11. Thanks every body. The drawing helped me totally understand. I guess since my gt350 transplant is using the chasis from the gt500, using these would be inaccurate and a total waste.
  12. This is them. Traction bars is what the ebay posting said Now. Where do they hook to. Can anybody please explain how they work. I am now and was then baffled.
  13. Hello Im trying to get pics or information on what a part on a drag/street car is called. I dont have pics because i dont know what it is called so i will describe it. When i was a kid, early 80's, my dad and uncles all had these things stuck out the back of the cars (bottom) that resemble two reese hitches about a foot or two apart. I guess they were around 1 1/2 to 2 inch square tubing. I want to think that the device was for either traction or to keep the car from popping a wheelie Im looking to add it to my 1/12 350gt-500gt mustang build.
  14. If i can get it from my lhs for near the ebay price, the lhs gets the cash. If the local wants 60 bucks for a kit i can get for 30, ebay gets the cash and i spend the money saved in the lhs Either way, the local wins
  15. Im impressed that you made a lendburg kit look as good as any Tamiya. Great job Mr Sir
  16. Ok, i have a little more progress. Here i made a roll cage out of brass Here i integrated the 500 grill into the 350 I whacked the 500 hood down to fit the 350 chassis. I had to make a piece because the 350 engine bay is longer than the 500's.
  17. That is nice.
  18. I saw a lady cleaning a resin figure model on youtube with a oxi-clean product. She put the parts in water dropped a scoop in, waited for the bubbles to quit and scrub parts with a soft tooth brush. She did say to make sure to clean off all residue before it dries
  19. We dont need no water let the model room burn Burn model room, Burn Just a play on an old song. None the less, i am prepaired with an extenguisher. But pre fire safety is just as important. House keeping and only storing what you need Helps. Also keep the the fire sources out. Keep the area Well ventalted and clean.
