  1. Very well done. That is the most realistic derby car I have ever seen.
  2. Welcome. From Michigan here as well. If you are interested in joining a club, there is a great one that meets once a month in Dearborn. Feel free to PM if you need any info on it.
  3. Yep, seen the test shot and talked about it with Dave at the Toledo NNL. Gonne be worth the extra time it takes to get it right.
  4. Seems to be a pretty good show so far. Dude is kinda freaky.
  5. Thanks to all those that stopped by. It was a nice show. Even had the chance score a few goodies myself.
  6. Great, now everyone knows my car (LOL) Just kidding.
  7. When I was at the Detroit Auto Show a fella at the VW display said there is a retro style Micro Bus in the works.
  8. Yes there will be. Morgan Automotive Detail, SMBC, Missing Link and Motor City Resin will be heading out from Detroit to set up. There are also many kit dealers with good prices.
  9. Morgan Automotive Detail, SMBC, Motor City Resin and Missing Link will all be there.
  10. Ozzy. Ronnie passed away a few years ago.
  11. Dude runs outta gas out in the middle of nowhere. A bee stops by to ask what the trouble is. Dude tells him stay here I will be back with help. About 5 minutes later he returns with a swarm of bees. They fly into that gas tank, buzz around and come back out. The bee tells the guy to try it. The car starts right up. The dude says thank you and ask what they put in there. The bee responds BP ofcourse.
  12. Morgan Automotive Detail has just had one mastered. It will include the body, interior tub and a rear seat. The master was done by Jerry Stewart which did the master work for MCRC's Turbine car wagon and Missing Links Cougar wagon. We hope to have the mold done soon.
  13. Please explain how one would go about knocking on the door of a submarine.
  14. There are three types of people in life. Those who can count and, those who cannot.
  15. Born in 73. Depending on what mood I am in 73 Pinto or 73 Mustang.
  16. HoHummm, Very interesting and neat in a way. Very, very sad in another. I spent about half my childhood growing up in The D and the rest in the suburbs of Detroit. Makes me very sad to see the shape it is in now. Those in power have done nothing but run it into the ground. Detroit was a happenin place back in the day. Not sure what can even be done to help it recover at this point.
  17. Correct, we use 30gauge wire. Thanks guys.
  18. Lookin good Donn.
  19. George feeds us peanuts if we behave.

  21. Does anyone know of any hobby shops along Route 66, And have contact info for them?
  22. A still not showing up Tom. I really like C myself.
  23. Jo-Han was known fo not wasting any plastic. If they had a bit of whatever color plastic ready and in the machine, they would inject it into the molds for sprues for the chrome parts. After all they were to be sent to the plater anywho.
  24. I myself trust this will be a great kit once all is said and done. Dave should be given a lot of respect for showing pre=production pics. I have had the chance to talk with him several times and find him to be very commited to the hobby.
