Awsome. Nice to see you sharing the hobby with your kids. My son (also 12) Goes to every club meeting, helps me at most shows I do and has a pretty good collection going. I wish he would spend a bit more time building but, I do not want to push him too hard. Lets just hopethey all keep the passion for the hobby. Thank you for sharing.

I have found that most Rustoleum takes a while to dry.

Perhaps contact DuPont and explain what happen. They may be willing to send you a new one.

I have been using Dupli-Color engine paint for years with no trouble. Primed or not. Just lay light coats to be safe.
