Peter......I am not one to make excuses ......I was also looking at my photos and noticed that she is sitting low......well the back section is removable because I made a small solo seat that makes a whole different look......and the whole back section will move up forward ......plus the rear lights do turn on.......thank`s for the nice comments,John

Eelco.......this is only the secound time I have tried cobbwebbing,,,,,,but the way I did it was......I bought a touch up spray gun used for real cars......they use these to paint door jams......I put un-thined black lacquer paint in the gun and shot it out with high air pressure ......around 45-50 psi......but you might want to practice with the air pressure till you get it right......it needs to come out stringy ........like little worms.......let it dry for an hour then when you shoot a clear coat you need to mist on the first coat or the clear will eat the cobbwebbing......thank`s John

Hello.......this started out as the Revell Formula Corvair Trike.........I had a 1975 Monogram Corvette body laying around.......so I decided to graph on the body to the trike.......wired and plumbed......all chrome stripped then painted with alclad.......scratch built faring .......H.O.K. kandy lime......all graphics airbrushed with cobbwebbing technique .......the girl is a water slide tatoo.
  5. Hello.....I started with the Polar lights Mr. Norms f/c.........using reference pictures I modified the tins, roll cage, blower hat......slixx decals......air brush fade paint job......H.O.K. pearl white....kandy tangerine,pearl blue,pearl purple.......wired and plumbed.....thank`s

Hello......I started with the Hasagawa 1966 bug truck kit......I only used the cab......opened the doors.....scratch built frame.....wired and plumbed using reference pictures ......added a driver.......custom made prism decals made buy me and "Fuelishspectator".......fingernail polish pink and blue used......all graphics air brushed.......side panels scratch built and swing out...scratch built and retracting wheelie bar....Protech braided line and t`fittings and gauges.

Well.....I don`t know what to say.......other than this is ABSOLUTELY incredible.......I always wanted to build this model......and when I went to the 50 years aniv.....of the NHRA 3 weeks ago it was the first 1:1 dragster on display......I must have taken about 50 pictures of it for reference for when I build it......I was planning on airbrushing the stripes but needed to have some one make the rest of the decals.....well anyway you did aawesome job on this build......cograts.

Mooneyes......the reference pictures I used is from a Car Craft magazine.......I had cut out the pages for my scrap book that I take to the model shows......and like an idiot I threw away the rest of the mag.....I know it is the mid to late 60`s issue......if you can not find it I can send my pictures to you but you gotta promise me you`ll send them back......or I`ll be going to the Phoenix show and you can make copies of it.....let me know......thank`s John

  23. Chris .....I use a bandage wrap for wounds......it has a material fabric on one side and adhesive on the other.......you can but it at any medical store.......thank`s John

Andy......I know I changed your deuce up a little.....I hope your not offended?.......I just had an idea and went with it.......Yes that is my model of the "Easyriders" streamliner.......I want to show it at two more shows then I will post pictures of how I did it and finished pictures......thank`s John
